Review after chapter 273:

TRANSLATION: The translator has done a great job but sadly most chapters are unedited and even the edited chs are filled with mistakes. It's fine for me as I've cultivated the art of MTL reading for years. I'm a veteran in reading and believe me this "wall of text"(Liners instead of paragraphs) is not the worst. I think it's because translation was done sentences wise (a technique) and chapters are also unedited. Also The translation is very slow and at this rate it'll take years for its completion lol.

MAIN REVIEW: UNDERRATED. I Read this because i love Snipers. My favorite is kar-98k & AWM btw. That's why A mc who's a sniper caught my eye, read this and wasn't disappointed. The story is great. Sometimes logical and sometimes also illogical lol. Not anything revolutionary but this novel at least kills your time. The mc and characters are also decent. You should read this if you've already read pretty much everything top recommended or vice versa.

The main character is a decent guy. No edgy, stupid, cringe behavior, simping etc. Doesn't shy away from difficulties. MC is a great Strategist as he was in army. He's also logical and cares about his friends. But MC is too OP so if you hate Over-powered characters, then you know what to do lol.

The side characters are also ok. You might find someone annoying but don't worry author doesn't delve much deeper in any character's story arc.

OVERALL a good read for me. You may like it or hate it. I'll say just enjoy the narrative if you can or find something else to read. Recommend to read this though. You'll enjoy it (a bit at least?). Take care.

NEGATIVES: The dialogue is cringe sometimes, specially when mc is conversing with women lol (practice dao of ignoring to tackle it). There are plot-holes in say game's achievements or mechanics (ignore this as you ignore "millions of li of distance" in LNs lol).

I understand everyones feelings about the no paragraphs in the earlier chapters. I would like to address this. Ppl say its the translators/editors fault but i was under the impression that when ranobes stole this book from another website that they messed up the structure of them few chapters. I would also like to add that all these chapter have been fixxed atleast as of chapter 9

Man, thank god I have a Text to Speech app, the first. 28 chapters are a single block of text making it completely unreadable. You can read up to chapter 12 on the mangas if you want a alternative.

Hate when a story has an editor and they still put out crap. It starts out normally then you get chapters that are one paragraph.

The story could be good...I'll never know since I had to give up. You know, there's a reason paragraphs exist.

The first chapters are large blocks of text without any organization, which makes reading exhausting for the eyes. In the end I had to give up my reading because of my burning eyes.

It's really cool to translate novels, but if it's to do shoddy work then move on and find another job, it's frustrating to have to abandon a story because of poor text organization by a beginner.
