In a world of swords and magic, Zaos is given another chance after hearing an unknown voice asking him to protect someone. While he couldn’t remember many things about his old life, he still decided to live his new as much as possible. Even though it looked like he was destined to do something, Zaos chose to follow his own path as much as possible.

He tried that… but it looked like the machinations of destiny won’t give him much option. Weird things were happening in the kingdom he was born, and before he could imagine… Zaos was throw in the middle of a war in which some were trying to revive the god of the world, and others were trying to prevent it. Zaos will fight in this war while he also looks for the person he is supposed to protect. Collapse

    Novel is okay. The plot is lack luster, being reincarnated just to protect someone. MC gets plenty of plot armor which is a no no in my books. MC is smart sometimes and then some other times u say wtf is he doing. With so much training and creating new magic spells, MC is a dumbass for not learning a barrier spell for physical attacks cause arrows continue to kick his ass to the moon.. The only part I enjoyed reading is when he entered the military. Anything before and after that can be toss in the trash. His two so called childhood friends are annoying af. The excuse that the kingdom doesn't have strong mages or magics is due to fear of the unknown/demon king is stupid as hell. This novel could have been way better, but it just wasn't.

    I thought this was a good novel. The novel takes a new approach to systems. Rather the omnipotent AI that gives skills and rewards, the MC's system doesn't play a major role in the story. It tells him his current stats and skills and does nothing else really.
    The very first chapter of the novel is a spoiler from 300+ chapters into the novel but it serves as a great hook, and by the time you reach that point in the novel, everything begins to make sense.
    I liked that the MC was strong but not overpowered. He used tactics and taunts to ensure efficiency. When he used brute strength he didn't become invincible but also took injuries equal to his recklessness.


    Overall, I'd rate this a 7.5/10

    I realized there is much more to this than going on adventures with a powerful mc. Overall it is a pretty amazing story regardless of what people say I admit I did skip a few chapters but, the story deserves at least 4.5.

    There is basically no plot and no goal for the protagonist to work towards except training swords and magic stuff and there is not a single good character in the story that I have found so far, there are no emotions to feel other than frustration and they're all so predictable its pathetic. I don't know how this story got 3.5 stars but its not even worth 1 star imo. Don't waste your time reading this pile of garbage. I made an account just so I could write this review because I was so frustrated reading this thing.
