The author explained everything clearly about the strength level. Who forgot - I repeat (not completely).

It was a nice novel at the beginning till chapters 100+. Although faults can be found even before that, they are bearable. The author doesn't how much hypocrasy has thrown to the mc. Eg. The mc wants to extract the bonuses from the corpses, but he always needs to be in the right when he kills people. He never start a fight, but always somehow ends up also battling. He doesn't like war, but he still likes extracting. Latest chapters that I read, he found some dark mages, and says to himself (even though they didn't do anything to him), it is better if I kill them since they are dark mages and they do bad things. The author is desperatly trying to make him as he has no other choise. Last chapter where I dropped (107) he even acted as a f#cking hero.... I sincerly say DO NOT READ THIS. I wasted my time in hopes of it getting better, don't do the same.

Btw this novel is currently rewritten by the author and some 50 chapters are done. So this novel is completely axed and idk if web novel gonna ever translate this.

this novel started so well, but it fell apart in the most recent chapters, but I won't talk about that, I was wondering if anyone can recommend a novel where the protagonist is a real mage, , this one seemed to be going well until he started using a sword and then it was just like other generic cultivation novels, what I want is a pure mage, a spellcaster.

Its an okay novel in the beginning but gets better as it goes on for some time. Then it becomes similar to any random xianxia/magic novels.

I guess the world building is decent albeit some concepts copied from more popular literature like harry potter. The system/cheat is good and balanced. It rapidly increases the speed of mc's cultivation and knowledge but not to a ridiculous degree. One problem is that some things are not properly used/explained. One example is talents(which feel like innate abilities) which the mc keeps extracting, but he never uses them or they never come up.

The characters are not really good. They mostly feel two dimensional. The mc is a flat board. It's difficult to gauge his character, not because he complex but because of the sheer inconsistency. Sometimes he acts like some knight in shining armour saving damsels in distress. Sometimes he acts arrogant, sometimes polite. Sometimes he acts like those cautious, "smart" mcs but sometimes a lot of times acts like an idiot and courts death. Sometimes he speaks as if people are barbarions for keeping slaves or the noble/commoner divide. But he himself buys slaves "enjoys" their skin service. The mc is unlikable but not enough to drop the novel.

I would recommend to read it till the novelty wears off.
