«There is a thin line between poison and medicine, and I shall make you dance on it!»

Dead and reincarnated, Shen Bao finds himself in a world of cultivation, a world he only believed that existed in stories and books.

With hopes of heights and abilities far than what the mortal man could ever dream of, he’s given a new purpose in life, however, fate had other surprises in store for him.

What should have commenced as a regular life in any reincarnation story, for Shen Bao everything turned upside down when he found out that he doesn’t have the ability to cultivate… Collapse

Honestly story is good but does not fit with mc. As a poison user i thought mc would be like revered insanity or atleast cold cruel ruthless mc.. but as story goes on mc becoming typical i am the hero to the world kind of mc.. helping other people selflessly..e.t.c. bit disappointed. Also mc says i maybe weak but not stupid.. but still does some pretty stupid acts..like after his sect destroyed he decided to go for emperor for some clue. I mean there should be ton of people way stronger than him.. and he got to meddled with them with his very low cultivation.. bond

you're wrong man, in your point of view everyone who uses poison, dark powers like darkness, darkness, etc... must be evil, it's not quite like that, even those who use sacred power can be a son of a bitch, everything it's a matter of perspective.
about him going to face someone stronger than him, why not? practically everyone in cultivation needs a goal, without a goal there is no way to achieve something greater, greatness, if you always think small and give up how do you cultivate like that? wouldn't it be better to take some mediocre cultivation and stay in a village / city imposing the weak and when the strong come to hide? to run away? pretend not to see anything even if someone eats your wife, kills your friends/children, etc?

Has the best pilot chapters i have read in recent times, the atmosphere of the novel was gloomy at the start, mc is hopless but still strives on what he want to do, i like it. Then comes his fortuitous encounter: he inherited the poison man's legacy. It went downhill from there, the mc suddenly became sunny.. He became a busybody, uselessly kind, and a bit showoff.. It isnt that bad but i kinda feel it feels off for someone who uses poison.. Couple of inserted unneeded memes here and there.. Kinda ruins the overall feel of the novel. mimo

thank you for saving me some time. i wasnt hoping for reverend insanity here but at least neutral i guess. this review reminds me of reincarnated as energy, the disappointment was real.

Good. If the author can extend the line of the clever main character, then this novel has a worthy future.

Too much tragedy. It's like the only events that accompany the MC on his cultivation journey is tragedy today and tragedy tomorrow. Even when there's little peace you know for sure that tragedy is coming gloom even I feel like am going to be having some life tragedies now frost

The answer is in the question itself. 'Rise of the Undead Legion' is quite literally awful.

I have read Undead Legion few years ago to like 100 Chap and it was good. Way better than Poison God. Maybe it became worse later on?

No? I've had enough at chapter near 50.
MC is paragon of hypocrisy. More of that, he is stupid as a piece of wood.
Author most of time very incoherent. All time he make some rules, like 'no stamina for undead' or 'undead cannot use heal potions', but completely forgot about it in next chapter. There too much reasons why this novel sucks and all of them are very obvious. You can't even use 'turn your brain off' function to make it readable.

This story has an interesting premise, albeit with a boring start.

When you get to the main story, everything goes well. All the elements involved so on, become interesting.

Read on, and you won't be disappointed.

Note: be readying, because tragedy always accompanies MC's journey.
