this is actually a decent novel, it doesn't deserve a 3.6 at all. i'd say it's baseline 4, because the storyline has depth to it. every variable is there for a reason, like . if you want to predict the plot, you really have to take into account the foreshadowing told in previous chapters.

while the novel has the romance genre, i believe it's late romance, because even in B15C3 there is still no clear romance between monica and (imo) the three main mls. monica is fundamentally a shy character, and it affects herself and those around her (not necessarily in a bad way, and not necessarily in the present). i personally don't find her character frustrating (come on now, if you're looking for a cold calculative manipulator bastard in a slice of life novel, what the hell are you even doing?), though some moments may come off as frustrating to others.

tl;dr : better plot and characters than some other novels. i'd personally give it a 4.2/5. mc's personality should not be frustrating to the novel's target audience (don't expect a ruthless mc).
