Turns Out To Be a Genius Duelist알고보니 일대일 천재

This work, you can say, pales in comparison to another creation of Jung Yoon Kang - "Survival in the game for the barbarian". It is truly magnificent. We strongly recommend that you read it.

The story itself is pretty interesting, but the MC has made some annoying moves/choices and there is quite a lot of pretty blatant plot armour too. A few cases of things not really making sense too.

In terms of MC:



Things not making sense:
It's never explained how many wins are needed to advance on each floor It's also never explained if all the people involved from Earth were taken at the same time or not.
Somehow there's a guy on the same floor as MC, even though that guy lost 3 of his matches.
Apparantly that guy somehow has similar total AP as MC (given that was needed for MC to be able to specify him as an opponent.)

Biggest issue though, the plot armor:




Overall its decent, but i don't really enjoy how this MC acts when it comes to anything other than training and fighting. The plot armor is quite an annoyance too.

Eh, sometimes the names of things will randomly change. It hasn’t been often, but it happens enough to notice when binging

Holy hell, a korean novel that does not have harem or romance tags but a depictions of cruelty, OP tags? COUNT ME IN

Alright, Review time.

The story for this is really well written, the stories flow is well thought out not rushed as other stories. The characters development and evolution through the story so far is unique. The world building has a solid structure so far (it could change?). Characters are unique, they don't seem bland and boring. Each has a personality which helps the story flow progress. Overall the novel is 9.5/10
