Once that was done, it was time to meet up with Isabelle and Anthony, Jasmine’s ancestors, the same people that once became the reason a being like Jasmine was born.
Yet, at the same time, even if they did not get together due to Jasmine’s intervention, she would not disappear. She had already become a paradoxical entity that exists outside the confines of this small seventh plane of existence.
Grey, being in this lower universe, had the power to look into the future to a certain extent. He did, after all, possess seventh rank level evolutionary powers, and seeing the trajectory, things would be very different in the future.
The chances of Jasmine being born had been drastically reduced; it was as low as one percent. There is a time and place for everything. Even if your parents are the same, a few hour delay in them doing the naughty stuff can be a significant turnover factor where you are not the one winning the race to be born into the world, but someone else.
The lottery to win is one in hundreds of millions, after all.
And the fact that Jasmine had made Isabelle and Anthony meet early meant there would be drastic shifts. In fact, it might even be possible that Jasmine’s parents would never be born, let alone her.

"You..." Grey looked at Jasmine in shock. "Did you do it deliberately, Jasmine?"
"Do what, Chief Grey?" Jasmine asked with a small smile.
"You made Isabelle and Anthony meet earlier to change the chances of you being born in the future, did you not?"
Jasmine froze when she heard this.
"You found out," Jasmine said with a thin smile.
"Why?" Grey asked in confusion. "Do you not want it to be the same?"
"That is not it." Jasmine shook her head.
"This world and timeline are fundamentally different from my home. Having spent time with everyone, I have realized something. This is not the world that I once knew."
"The world I came from still exists, Chief Grey. It resides in the endless branches of time."
"Once I reach that level where space and time are completely under my command, I will be able to go back."
"Then, I will be the sole factor that dictates the trajectory of the world. The timeline the endless reality follows will follow mine."
Grey looked at her silently, not knowing what to say.
Indeed, the past could not be said to be the same. Once you make a ripple, everything has already become drastically different.
He did not think it was a coincidence. Maybe the Mecha race did intentionally drop Jasmine down into this place so she could awaken her physique. The Mecha race was one of the many factions that knew about all these things, after all.
They were one of the beings closest to the information layer.
"Well. Whatever. It seems like your Future One Physique has awakened."
Jasmine gave a subtle nod.
"The Future One Physique is quite unique."
"How so?" Grey tilted his head and asked.
"You might not know this, Chief Grey. But the Future One Physique is fundamentally the destruction of one’s own future," Jasmine said. "After that happens, we Future Ones become effectively immortal."
"Because, while we have made the chances of ourselves being born close to zero, we can also use this to stay immortal. The river of time is stretched infinitely, and across the vast river are infinite timelines with an infinite amount of future selves. I can sense them and make their strengths and lives my own. This includes the future me of the future world I came from. The one that didn’t get sent to the past from the future into the blue star."
"Or rather, I can remove that future timeline permanently and make the strength and lifespan of the Jasmine there completely mine."
"Hm." Contrary to Jasmine expecting a stunned look, Grey did not show much reaction.

After this small talk, Grey went to meet Isabelle and Anthony with Jasmine.
"You guys are back." Anthony stood up from the seat of his fleet with visible anxiety.
"What about the otherworlders?" Anthony asked.
Grey turned to Jasmine.
"Fine. I will do it." Jasmine nodded and began explaining. Once she was done, everyone present wore a stunned expression.
"That world... belongs to you?" Anthony’s mouth went dry. This was beyond his expectations.
So, Miss Jasmine’s friends were not from another galaxy, but from another universe entirely?
"But, merging with that universe..." Anthony and Isabelle wore conflicted expressions.
If they merged with the other universe, what about the hard work they had gone through to reach this state? Would it all be meaningless?
"You guys will have your own modern magic domain in the universe," Grey said. "And switching to the path over there will not stop you from using modern magic or researching it."
