Chapter 296: Plane Migration

Inside the secluded house, Su Nan sat cross-legged, his eyes tightly shut.

Before successfully comprehending the Law of Gravity, he had exerted all his effort to catch just a wisp of it.

Now, having grasped this law, he found that the surroundings were imbued with the Law of Gravity, which he referred to as 'Blue Black' as he sensed the Plane Origin once more.

With a slight thought, a wisp of this Law merged into Su Nan's body, circulating swiftly within him.

Though the Law Power couldn't remain in his body for long and quickly flowed back out, this process did enhance his understanding of the Law of Gravity, albeit slightly.

After an unknown passage of time, Su Nan opened his eyes and summoned his panel to check his progress. He discovered that his comprehension of the Law of Gravity had reached 0.02%.

Gazing at the time, he realized that roughly a year and two months had already passed.

“At this rate, mastering the Law of Gravity will take about eleven thousand years,” he murmured, his eyelids twitching involuntarily.

A Tier 3 Crystallization Wizard typically has a lifespan of only around twenty thousand years.

Ordinary Wizards who breakthrough to Level 3 Crystallization usually are already six or seven thousand years old, even those with slightly better talent.

Even if they are fortunate enough to successfully comprehend a law, it often takes a thousand or two. That puts them around eight or nine thousand years old!

If they then spend another eleven thousand years grasping the Law, they are likely to face death from old age before ever mastering its power, which is exceedingly pushing the limits.

If progress slows even a little, they might not even have the chance to succeed before their time runs out.

It’s no wonder that there are so few True Spirit Wizards.

For those with poorer talent, even choosing a relatively simpler Elemental Law, the chance of advancing to True Spirit Wizard is extremely slim.

"Mastering the Law of Gravity takes eleven thousand years. The Thunder Law is somewhat easier, yet it will still take at least seven or eight thousand years, which adds up to nearly twenty thousand years."

"Without external assistance, trying to comprehend two laws simultaneously is indeed stretching the limits."

Su Nan sighed and took out the Law Crystal.

Now that he had successfully comprehended a law, he could absorb the Law Crystal.

Unlike the Law Power found in the Plane Origin, the Law Power within the Law Crystal could be absorbed and fused into his body, greatly enhancing his affinity for Law Power and strengthening his comprehension of laws.

It was precisely because of this that the Law Crystal had become a treasure coveted by so many Tier 3 Crystallization Wizards.

Strictly speaking, the Law Crystal was even more precious than the Law Fruit.

After all, the Law Fruit could be obtained from the Realm of Truth, but the Law Crystal could only be created by extracting Law Power from the Source of Law.

And the latter was undoubtedly an extremely wasteful act, with hardly any Wizard Faction willing to squander resources in such a manner.

Holding the Law Crystal, Su Nan composed his thoughts and began to absorb it.

After spending more than half a year absorbing an entire Law Crystal, Su Nan's understanding of Gravity Law had skyrocketed to 15.38%.

"A single Law Crystal has saved me nearly eighteen hundred years of cultivation," he mused, glancing at the data on the panel with a sigh.

It was a pity that the numerous True Spirit Wizards had come back so quickly; otherwise, if he had been given a bit more time to create a few more Law Crystals, that would have been even better.

Shaking his head, Su Nan turned his attention back to the task at hand.

There was only this one Law Crystal; once it was used, it would be gone.

He could likely obtain another Law Fruit from the Wisdom Codex, which should increase his understanding of Gravity Law by around 10%.

After that, if he wanted to quickly improve his understanding of Gravity Law, he would have to think of other methods.

Su Nan looked at the panel in the void before him, a thoughtful expression in his eyes.

Compared to other Wizards, his greatest advantage was possessing the Synthesis Cube.

Perhaps he could find a way from this angle.

After contemplating for a moment, Su Nan had an idea. He took out a Divine Energy Crystal, extracted Law Power from Plane Origin, and fused it into the Divine Energy Crystal.

Before long, a Pseudo Law Crystal had taken shape.

It was called a Pseudo Law Crystal because this counterfeit could not be truly absorbed; it could only be fused into the body to facilitate an understanding of the Law, and the Law Power contained within it would gradually dissipate over time.

If it remained like that, there would be no difference from before.

Su Nan pursed his lips and, using the same method, created more than ten Pseudo Law Crystals. He then combined them all.

The final Pseudo Law Crystal that took shape was noticeably several shades darker than the previous ones.

Su Nan gazed at the Pseudo Law Crystal in his palm, rubbing it for a moment before beginning to absorb the Law Power within.

The formless Law Power entered his body, circulating slowly before gradually dissipating outward over time.

Although the process was the same as before, this time Su Nan felt his comprehension of the Gravity Law accelerating considerably.

It was clear that the synthesized Law Power was far stronger than the previous one, significantly boosting the speed of his understanding.

When his comprehension of the Gravity Law increased by 0.01%, Su Nan opened his eyes and realized that over seven months had passed.

"It's almost twice as fast as before!" he exclaimed with a smile.

The results proved that his method was effective. Synthesizing Law Power took less than a day yet saved him nearly half the time, which was undoubtedly cost-effective.

Moreover, this wasn't the limit; Law Power could continue to be synthesized.

Snapping out of his delight, Su Nan resumed synthesizing Law Power while also cultivating and testing the limits of his synthesis.

While Law Power could be synthesized infinitely, his soul and body could only withstand a limited strength of Law Power.

It was akin to drinking alcohol. The amount a person could consume in one gulp depends on the size of their mouth and their swallowing speed. However, the strength of the alcohol they can handle depends on their body's tolerance.

Under normal circumstances, what a practitioner could "drink" in terms of Law Power was merely a wisp.

This applied to Su Nan as well. Therefore, he could only use Law Power of higher Cube Synthesis intensity to increase the ‘alcohol proof.’

What he was currently doing was finding the ‘upper limit of the alcohol proof’—the maximum strength of Law Power he could bear.

After four or five years, Su Nan finally tested the most suitable limit for synthesis.

Ultimately, experiments showed that the least amount of cultivation time required for a 0.01% increase in Gravity Law comprehension was about four and a half months.

"At this speed, after absorbing the Law Fruit, it will probably take two thousand years to fully control the Gravity Law."

"If I can find a way to increase the synthesis limit of Law Power, this time can be further shortened."

Two thousand years to grasp a Rule Law was already considered exceptionally fast.

"But if possible, Su Nan still wanted to be faster.

After all, in his memory, the event where numerous Wizards would join forces to ambush the Spider Goddess was set to occur in 3,500 years according to the Starlight Calendar.

Without sufficient power, even attempting to take advantage of the chaos during that event would be impossible.

Having made his decision, Su Nan stretched and got up to leave the house.

Having stayed in the Shimmering Spirit Plane for so long, it was time to return to the Ulan Plane for a while.

"I wonder how the battle situation is over there?"

Since Lize hadn't contacted him, it meant that the battle was progressing smoothly, so Su Nan wasn't too worried.

Ulan City, Ulan Plane.

After sixty years, upon returning to Ulan City, Su Nan noticed that the city had expanded significantly, now estimated to be two or three times its previous size.

Countless Golem Puppets and Magic Pattern Knights patrolled the city, showcasing strict order.

"The changes are quite remarkable," Su Nan murmured softly, and in the next moment, his figure suddenly vanished.

Starlight Wizard Tower, Cultivation Room.

Lize sat cross-legged, focused on her meditation.

Although she had her own Wizard Tower, she often chose to cultivate within the Starlight Wizard Tower.

After all, the concentration of Energy Particles here was much higher than in her own tower.

In fact, the Cultivation Room in the Starlight Wizard Tower had long been listed among the items sought after by many Wizards in the Star Alliance's exchange.

Especially the Cultivation Rooms near the top floor, which were primarily reserved for high-ranking members of the Star Alliance, making it difficult for ordinary Wizards to acquire them.

As a core high-ranking member of the Star Alliance, being second only to one, Lize naturally didn’t need to exchange; she had a designated Cultivation Room in the Starlight Wizard Tower year-round.

Just then, Lize suddenly opened her eyes, a slight change in her expression.

In an instant, she vanished, and when she reappeared, she found herself in her Study. The first thing she saw was Su Nan sitting behind the desk, looking at her with a smile on his face.

"You're finally back," Lize said, a smile forming on her lips. "How was your harvest?"

Su Nan grinned. "Not bad. I've successfully comprehended the Law of Gravity."

Lize wasn’t surprised to hear that."

If it were anyone else, comprehending a Rule Law in just over sixty years would surely be astonishing.

Yet for Su Nan, it seems quite ordinary.

This only highlights how much Su Nan's past performance has raised Lize's expectations of him.

"How's the war going?" Su Nan asked, getting straight to the point.

Lize's expression turned serious as he replied, "As you instructed, we're focusing our main attacks on Taino Plane and Purple Moon Plane."

"By the year Starlight Calendar 2695, we had already taken Taino Plane. Now, we've also captured about three points of the territory of Purple Moon Plane. Our army is currently in a favorable position, and we will surely be able to conquer Purple Moon Plane within twenty years at most."

"As for Baikal Plane and Barton Plane, we are focusing on containing them for now."

Su Nan nodded in satisfaction.

Over the past three hundred years, the Star Alliance's military power has grown considerably. However, the strength of the four Planes under Black Suo Tower is also much greater than that of the previous three Planes: Wulan, Xige, and Manro.

Additionally, attacking four Planes simultaneously with dispersed forces is no easy task for the Star Alliance.

To capture Taino Plane, the most valuable and powerful Plane, in just over sixty years, and to establish a strategic advantage in Purple Moon Plane is already quite impressive.

Taino Plane is a high-value Plane where human civilization is the dominant race. Capturing this Plane and managing it carefully for a century or two will allow the Star Alliance's overall strength to experience a significant leap in improvement.

"What about Thousand Headed Bird?" Su Nan inquired.

"We've managed to tie down many of Black Suo Tower's forces. Thousand Headed Bird has now broken free from the stalemate and is putting pressure on Black Suo Tower. So far, Thousand Headed Bird has captured four Planes from Black Suo Tower."

Su Nan nodded in understanding.

Thousand Headed Bird's overall strength was only slightly weaker than that of Black Suo Tower. With the Star Alliance restraining some of Black Suo Tower's power, it is only natural for Thousand Headed Bird to gain the upper hand.

Black Suo Tower controls a total of twenty-two Planes. Four have been captured by the Star Alliance, and another four by Thousand Headed Bird, leaving only fourteen Planes in their hands.

It is foreseeable that this number will sharply decline in the near future.

"Adding to that, the two True Spirit Wizards from the Death faction who participated in the Wizard Civil War, the Black Suo Tower, can be said to have suffered the most devastating losses.

However, Black Suo Tower still has one True Spirit Wizard remaining.

Although this individual is severely injured, they should not be underestimated.

If Black Suo Tower were to face a crisis of annihilation, that True Spirit Wizard would undoubtedly disregard any agreements and most likely intervene; this is something we must be cautious of and prepare for.

After all, the power of a True Spirit Wizard is undeniable; even an injured one can create significant trouble for the Star Alliance.

“Oh right, there’s something I need to tell you.”

Lize’s expression suddenly grew more serious.

“Starlight Continent’s population has increased significantly in recent years, and I plan to relocate a portion of the population to other planes.”

Su Nan raised an eyebrow. “You want to conduct plane migration?”

In the Wizarding World, planes where human civilization exists and humans are the dominant species hold the highest value.

However, human planes are rare in the Multiverse, and most are controlled by the Main Planes, making them exceedingly difficult to acquire.

As a result, some wizards have taken a different approach: transferring a portion of the population from a human plane to other planes to propagate and multiply, effectively creating new human planes.

Over the course of tens of thousands of years, there have been both successes and numerous failures.

After all, the difficulty of plane migration is much greater.

Firstly, the plane to which people are migrating must be suitable for human survival, with sufficient resources and energy particle concentrations, requiring prior modifications. Otherwise, an inability to adapt to the environment could significantly hinder the progress of the plane migration plan, possibly leading to its collapse.

Secondly, the migrating population must be large enough; otherwise, moving a considerable number of people hastily could impede the plane’s development, even causing its productivity and developmental level to regress significantly, outweighing any potential benefits.

However, after hearing Lize's explanation, Su Nan realized that neither of these issues seemed to pose a problem.

Under the management of the Star Alliance, Starlight Continent has shown remarkable development in recent years.

The promotion and widespread adoption of magic technology have enabled the economy and productivity levels of Starlight Continent to grow rapidly."

It had been just over seven hundred years since the blockade of the Plane had been lifted, resulting in an explosive population growth on the Starlight Continent, which had more than quadrupled.

Even temporarily relocating a portion of the population would not significantly impact the Starlight Continent.

Lize had decided to choose the West Ge Plane for relocation.

There were already human tribes on the West Ge Plane, albeit in sparse numbers, indicating that its environment was relatively compatible with the human Plane, unlike the harsh conditions of the Man Luo Plane.

With some minor modifications, it could be transformed into a Plane suitable for human habitation.

Moreover, the physical fitness of the residents of the Starlight Continent had noticeably improved over the years, leading to a significant increase in the proportion of Knights. This meant they could better handle any acclimatization issues during the Plane Migration.

In summary, the Plane Migration plan had a high likelihood of success.
