Chapter 371

Chapter 371: I Got Another Younger Brother?

Although the Reconstructed Warrior was powerful, it was completely no match for Thor, who had just regained his divine powers and was riding a wave of momentum.

Thor showed no mercy to the American soldiers who had slaughtered many of his comrades and harmed his important allies.

In just a few minutes, the entire American military squad was slaughtered.

“You alright, Che?” After the fight ended, Thor hurriedly helped Che Guevara out of another overturned armored vehicle.

Although Thor had just experienced a surge in combat power, he had deliberately avoided Che Guevara’s armored vehicle to prevent injuring his old friend.

Cough cough cough, I’m fine. I never thought I’d live to see a real god, and he was my comrade for a whole year!” Che Guevara coughed up two mouthfuls of blood and smiled in response. He looked happy but also somewhat eerie.

There was no other choice. Although Thor had tried to avoid Che Guevara during the battle’s aftermath, the previous wounds had left him in critical condition.

“Hold on a little longer, I’ll take you back to Asgard. You’ll get better!” Seeing this, Thor understood the seriousness of the situation. After saying this, he called to Heimdall in the sky.

Heimdall, who had been keeping watch over Thor for more than a year, didn’t hesitate and immediately lowered the Bifrost to take Thor back to Asgard.

“Whoa, this feels a little bad...God, is this the Celestial Palace?” Due to his severe injuries, Che Guevara felt uncomfortable passing through the Bifrost, but soon he was drawn to the golden shining palace in the distance.

“Yes, welcome to the Celestial Palace!” At this moment, a voice came from nearby. It was Heimdall, the gatekeeper of Asgard. Seeing Che Guevara, he nodded slightly.

Having closely followed Thor’s experiences for over a year, Heimdall was well aware of Thor’s situation. Naturally, he was also well informed about Che Guevara, Thor’s new “comrade,” and had given a degree of approval.

“Hello...what is your name?” Facing the golden-armored warrior, Che Guevara still felt a little uneasy.

“He is Heimdall. Enough talking, you need treatment now...Sorry, Heimdall, he’s badly injured!” Before the two could continue talking, Thor interrupted Che Guevara.

The man was badly hurt, and if he wasn’t treated soon, even Asgard’s medical technology might not be able to save him. Saying that, Thor carried Che Guevara and flew towards the golden palace.

Upon arrival at the palace, Thor wasted no time and headed straight for the treatment room.

Che Guevara’s injuries were severe. Compared to medical standards on Earth outside the Austrian Kingdom, survival was almost a miracle.

But for Asgard’s technology, it was only a minor injury.

With the help of the Soul Forging Furnace—also known as the Quantum Healing Chamber—his wounds visibly began to heal.

After confirming that his comrade was out of life-threatening danger, Thor finally breathed a sigh of relief.

“I always thought the first person you’d bring back to Asgard would be a girl!” As Thor relaxed, a kind teasing voice came from behind him.

“Mother!” Hearing the voice, Thor turned around with delight.

The visitor was Thor’s mother, the Queen of Asgard, Frigga.

If Thor were to list the people he missed most during the year-plus on Earth, there was no doubt the kind-hearted fairy queen would top that list.

He eagerly stepped forward and gave his mother a hug.

“Seeing you return safely is wonderful!” Frigga showed no hesitation in expressing her affection upon seeing her son.

Only after the hug did Thor notice behind his mother a young man he had never seen before, looking extremely handsome and curiously studying him.

“Mother, who is this?” Thor asked, looking at the young man.

“Oh, let me introduce him. This is your younger brother, Baldur! Come here, Baldur, this is Thor, your brother!” Hearing Thor’s question, Frigga smiled warmly and introduced the young man standing behind her.

“Hello, brother! I’m Baldur, very glad to meet you. I often hear Mother speak of your heroic deeds!” The handsome youth stepped forward and saluted Thor following Frigga’s introduction.

What the heck? My younger brother?

Hearing Frigga’s answer, Thor was full of question marks.

I’ve only been exiled for a little over a year, how did I suddenly get such a big younger brother?

And what about my original beloved younger brother, Loki?

“Don’t misunderstand, Baldur isn’t biologically related to you and your father. Like Loki, he was brought from Midgard and is one of the children we adopted!” Frigga clearly saw Thor’s confusion and immediately explained.

So, like Loki, he’s adopted! Thor realized but then paused again.

“Wait, Mother, did you just say Loki was adopted?” Thor asked incredulously.

After arranging his marriage with Carol, Loki took the chance to come clean with Odin and Frigga about his origins.

Although the royal family didn’t publicize this matter throughout Asgard to protect their image, it was no longer a secret among the Asgardian elite.

Because of Loki’s situation, there was a big commotion in Vienna, and Thor—who was exiled to Earth—still didn’t know about it.

“Yes, Loki isn’t biologically ours. We kept it from you for your sake, but now Loki knows, so there’s no need to hide it anymore!” Frigga explained. Before Thor could fully process the shock, she seemed to remember something else and added, “By the way, you also have a half-sister by the same father named Hela. When you get a chance, I’ll take you to meet her.”

Thor was stunned.

The brother he had grown up with for thousands of years was adopted.

He had a half-sister.

And his parents had adopted another child.

The amount of information was so overwhelming even Thor couldn’t take it all in at once.

Wait...this kid is named Baldur?

Coming to his senses, Thor cast a strange look at the handsome young man standing beside Frigga.

If it weren’t for the exile he’d gone through, Thor wouldn’t have felt much about this name.

But during the past year on Earth, Thor had read quite a few myths about himself.

Of course, mostly just for fun.

After all, on Earth’s myths, Loki was his uncle.

But Baldur...

“Tell me, Mother, did you also adopt a child named Hodr?”
