Chapter 360

Chapter 360: Hilda

With a bang, a miserable figure slammed heavily from the sky onto the ground, the tremendous impact burying her several meters underground.

But this was not the end. A giant foot from the sky came down heavily again, delivering another severe blow to her.

After the dust settled, what appeared on the spot was a huge pit resembling a giant footprint.

At the center of the pit, that miserable figure was embedded in the ground, unable to rise for a long time.

Almost no one would have imagined that this figure, thousands of years ago, was a nightmare across the entire universe.

She was Odin’s first offspring, the eldest princess of Asgard, the death goddess Hela!

And the one who beat her into this half-dead state was Josh’s wife, Celestial Margot.

Because she was under a seal and far from Asgard for thousands of years, Hela’s power was now barely one-tenth of what it once was. Not to mention Margot in her Celestial form— even Josh could easily overpower her.

Her immortal body’s recovery speed had also become very slow.

After confirming that Hela had lost all resistance, Margot resumed her human form and proudly stood before her.

At the same time, a blue light flashed beside her, and Josh appeared at her side.

“How about it? Have you thought about my proposal?” Josh asked with a smile, looking at Hela who was almost embedded underground.

“You...don’t even think about it!” Hela slowly raised her head and stared fiercely at Josh.

This human actually wanted her to become his slave? What a delusion!

Although imprisoned for thousands of years, Hela’s pride remained intact.

“Tsk, you really don’t want to leave this damned place?” Josh frowned at Hela’s defiant expression. She had been locked up for thousands of years, yet she was still so stubborn!

“Heh heh heh, I can feel it—old Odin’s power is waning. He should die within a hundred years. By then, I can leave this hellhole. Why should I serve you?” Hela sneered.

She had waited thousands of years; what was another hundred?

“Tsk, so stubborn... Margot, continue!” Josh said to Margot, then vanished from the spot.

Margot shrugged and began torturing Hela again.

“Is this all you can do?” Several hours later, Hela, battered and broken, looked at Josh with disdain.

Despite suffering what would be considered merciless torture for a normal person, her immortal body could not block the pain—but Hela still did not yield.

After all, she was someone who emerged from a mountain of corpses and seas of blood thousands of years ago. A little physical pain was nothing to her.

This human thought such tricks would make her surrender? Delusional.

“Heh, in the end, you just rely on your immortal body. Asgard is eternal, and so is Hela...But what you just felt is only the appetizer. Don’t worry, in the countless years ahead, you will enjoy this treatment every day!” Josh’s face remained calm seeing Hela’s stubbornness.

This situation was exactly what he expected.

“What do you mean?” Hela suddenly had a bad premonition.

“You were right before—Odin doesn’t have much time left... But have you considered this possibility? Odin can seal you, and so can I. My wife can too,” Josh said with a smile. “My wife is a Celestial, her lifespan is as long as the universe itself...She can seal you just as well!”

Hearing this, Hela’s previously calm face finally changed.

Thousands of years of sealing and loneliness had worn her down and her only hope was Odin’s death but if the person before her sealed her again...Judging from the one-sided abuse before, she did not doubt Josh and Margot had such power.

Yet she was unwilling to surrender to Josh so easily.

“Heh...No need to be so impatient. At our level, time is the least of our worries!” Josh said with a smile.

Hela’s face turned as black as ink.

“Let’s go, take her to Fuerteventura Island. I’m sure she’ll get along well with the others!” Josh said to Margot.

Since Hela was so difficult, she might as well be an extra “battery” for them!

The only surprise to Josh was that from the time he and Margot came to Helheim until taking Hela away, Odin did not show up.

Who knows what the old guy was thinking?

But for Josh, Odin’s absence was obviously the best outcome.

…………………………………………

The next day, Josh opened the Dimensional Trade System and quietly waited for a new trade partner to appear—today was the annual day when a new dimensional beacon was generated.

Soon, an icy snowy scene appeared on the screen.

Following that, a silver-haired girl in a thin gauze dress appeared, eyes closed in prayer.

Seeing this, Josh frowned. He had no strong impression of this scene.

At that moment, the girl who had just absorbed the information from the dimensional trade beacon opened her eyes and looked at Josh.

“Dimensional Trade System? What a marvelous thing! Honorable powerful one from another universe, I am Hilda, ruler of Asgard, the great god king Odin’s earthly representative. What guidance do you seek?” The girl’s red lips parted as she spoke to Josh.

Hilda???

Hearing this name, Josh’s brow twitched.

Isn’t this the Asgardian queen from Saint Seiya’s Norse arc?

Wow, I just subdued Hela, and today another Asgard-like world suddenly appears?

I wonder which gods are stronger—the gods of Saint Seiya’s world or those of the Marvel universe?

Of course, the key point is those indestructible Saint Seiya warriors.

In any case, there’s no doubt this is a very troublesome world.

But the benefits are also huge. Whether it’s those gods, the unique small cosmos cultivation methods, or the holy armors, all are valuable.

I just don’t know if the small cosmos cultivation methods can be used in the Marvel universe.

“Hilda? Do you have seven Saints under your command? Is there a Sanctuary in your world ruled by Athena, with twelve Gold Saints and some Silver and Bronze Saints under her?” Josh asked straightforwardly.

“You actually know so much about my world?” Hilda frowned.

According to the system trade beacon’s information, they came from completely different universes. The other side shouldn’t know details about her world!

But now it was obvious the other party knew quite a lot.

Could this so-called trade device harm her universe?

Unlike Josh’s past trade partners who were mostly ordinary people, Hilda was a true god’s representative. Her knowledge of cosmic secrets far exceeded those Josh had met before, so her concerns were reasonable.

“Hilda, don’t misunderstand. I only know of your world due to some accident, and I have no ill intent toward it. I’m just a merchant who values fair trade!” Josh explained, seeing Hilda’s worry.

“Our Asgard is cold and barren. I’m afraid we have little to offer you. I have many matters to attend to, so I won’t disturb you further!” Hilda did not change her attitude due to Josh’s weak explanation and immediately tried to cut off communication.

But at that moment, the sea surface before Hilda suddenly became turbulent and strange.
