Chapter 323

“This sword will be yours from now on. With it, your achievements won’t be any less than Thor’s, but how far you can go depends on yourself!” On Earth, in the study of NeuschwansteinCastle, Josh handed a greatsword filled with immense divine power to his youngest son, Ben.

This divine sword was forged by merging the two divine swords once owned separately by He-Man and She-Ra.

To be precise, this sword originally was a single sword. However, by a twist of fate, when He-Man’s great enemy, Skeletor, destroyed the treasured Magic Orb of Etheria, He-Man forcibly absorbed most of the terrifying energy released by the orb to prevent the whole planet’s destruction, which caused the divine sword to split into two.

The split sword became the one that She-Ra wielded.

But since Josh had wiped out all forces in Etheria a week ago, both divine swords naturally came into his possession.

Yes, it had been a week since that great battle.

After successfully turning the star region of Etheria into another colony of the Ouroboros Group in the universe, Josh returned to Earth yesterday. Moreover, there was no longer a need to use the Space Stone for teleportation, because high-quality Thern crystals had been discovered under the seas of Etheria and the Origin Star, which could serve as energy sources for interstellar portals.

However, Josh did not continue to explore the other remaining teleportation arrays on the Origin Star, because the territory controlled by Ouroboros had already reached a threshold, and adding more would overstretch their forces. Even with full-capacity production lines and continuous new lines being added, it would still be impossible to govern more territory in the short term.

After studying the history of Etheria and the divine swords of He-Man and She-Ra, Josh discovered a secret—the humans of the Etheria Kingdom were descendants of the barbarian king Conan and the alien queen’s tribe, as was Kalai tribe on the Origin Star.

The divine swords used by He-Man and She-Ra were originally wielded by the barbarian king Conan himself.

After two nights of research, Josh successfully re-forged the two divine swords back into one.

Now, Josh bestowed this divine sword upon his youngest son Ben, who was passionate about fighting.

Ben had participated in many battles during the Etheria war, showing Josh excellent combat talent.

As for his eldest son Mike, Josh planned to give him the Broken Steel Sword later. Although the Barbarian’s Divine Sword was stronger, on Earth the Broken Steel Sword held greater significance.

“Thank you, Father!” Ben looked at the divine sword in his hands with burning eyes, feeling the immense power contained within. His heart surged with emotion—one day, he would definitely be stronger than Thor, and then he could go find Sif...

Josh did not know what his youngest son was thinking. After giving the sword to Ben, he motioned for him to leave.

Ben happily took the sword and left, full of hope for the future.

Josh then prepared to welcome a new dimensional beacon.

However, when the new beacon appeared, the scene and person on the other side made Josh somewhat puzzled.

A messy apartment, a short-haired girl wearing a blue tank top.

This familiar scene and outfit—if not Jill Valentine, then who?

Though the scene and outfit were basically the same, Josh immediately realized this was a different Jill, not the one he knew.

The Jill before him had softer facial features.

“Jill Valentine?” Josh asked.

“That’s right, it’s me. But how do you know my name? This dimensional trader doesn’t seem to have that function, right?” Jill was surprised Josh could say her name.

“That’s not important. Tell me first, do you know Rebecca, and what time is it where you are now?” Josh interrupted Jill’s words with questions.

In the movie version of Resident Evil, the world Josh connected to last year, there was no Rebecca, so Josh’s question was obvious.

“Of course, she’s a member of our STARS team, so I know her!” Jill answered decisively. “As for the time, it’s now September 28.”

Indeed, this was the game version of Jill, and the time matched exactly the beginning of Resident Evil 3.

It was the first time Josh had connected simultaneously to two different versions of the same dimension.

But this time, Josh did not waste words, directly trading a set of universal super soldier serum, a vibranium alloy combat suit, an E-5S energy burst rifle, a flight jetpack, and some medicines.

“What does this mean, sir?” Jill asked confusedly when she saw what Josh had traded.

“Inject the serum quickly, or it will be too late later. You’ll thank me!” Josh said.

Because the beacon had already implanted information about the trader into her mind, Jill clearly understood the significance of these items. Though puzzled by Josh’s actions, she chose to trust him and injected the serum into her body.

Just as she finished injecting the serum, the phone on the table rang.

On the other end was her STARS teammate, Brad.

Brad only urged Jill to run fast but didn’t mention why.

While Jill was full of doubts, the apartment wall suddenly shattered with a loud crash, and a huge figure slammed Jill flying.

If Jill hadn’t just used the super soldier serum, this hit alone would have knocked her senseless.

But thanks to the serum, Jill was barely affected. She rolled on the ground and pulled out her “Samurai Edge,” emptying the magazine at the giant that suddenly appeared.

To Jill’s shock, the monster seemed unaffected by a full magazine of bullets and charged at her again but Jill was no longer the same as before. She swiftly dodged with a side roll.

“Your own weapon won’t work. Use the energy burst rifle I gave you!” Josh’s voice came through the still-open communication line.

Hearing Josh’s warning, Jill immediately understood. With a thought, a long-barreled sci-fi styled sniper rifle appeared in her hands.

Aim, pull the trigger!

A powerful red laser beam shot out, instantly piercing the monster’s head, then the wall behind it, turning into a streak of light that vanished into the night sky.

After a brief silence, the powerful monster that had attacked Jill collapsed with a thunderous crash!
