Chapter 496: Silver Spirit Stone! Poison Dragon Mountain! (2)

Tang Ming immediately came back to his senses and waved his hand, saying, “Brother Blade, please don’t misunderstand, I was just a bit taken aback… It’s very rare for someone to take out Innate Qi.”

Su Changkong’s expression slightly softened, “This strand of Innate Qi, let’s settle it as 5000 Spirit Stones, what do you think?”

Under normal circumstances, a strand of Innate Qi was priced around 5000 Spirit Stones, but even if one were willing to pay that much, it would be difficult to acquire. Smaller sects barely had any strands of Innate Qi to sell, and the larger sects, with numerous outstanding disciples, could create an Innate Martial Artist with just one strand of Innate Qi and were even less likely to sell!

Even if some Solo Innate Warriors had the good fortune to obtain a second strand of Innate Qi, they would mostly keep it for their own progeny.

“Agreed… 5000 Spirit Stones, to be converted into 50 portions of Spiritual Medicine, will be sorted out within three days!” Tang Ming nodded repeatedly. Their Cangyun Sect wouldn’t mind having more Innate Qi, as they had numerous excellent and potential disciples waiting for Innate Qi to break through.

“Besides that, prepare another 5000 Spirit Stones.”

...

Su Changkong added another sentence.

“Could he have even more Innate Qi?”

Tang Ming thought to himself, inevitably surprised.

But considering Su Changkong’s temperament, he didn’t dare to ask further, simply nodding, “Okay, no problem.”

“Additionally, we can continue to trade with your Cangyun Pavilion in the future, but if your actions displease me… then you will have to bear the consequences.”

Su Changkong also warned Tang Ming at the same time.

Cangyun Sect had considerable strength and was ranked among the top in all Martial Arts Sects of Central State, with profound heritage, hence Su Changkong bluntly suggested that if Tang Ming or Cangyun Sect had other intentions, they should weigh the consequences!

Tang Ming hastily said, “Brother Blade, our Cangyun Sect has always been benevolent and acting with integrity, praised by all. We would never engage in anything contemptible!”

“Hmm, I’ll return in three days.”

Su Changkong remained non-committal and nodded slightly as he rose to leave. He didn’t know if several strands of Innate Qi would tempt Cangyun Sect, but it was better to be cautious.

Fortune tempts the heart, and Su Changkong never doubted the maliciousness of human nature.

“This Dao Wufeng… is no ordinary character!”

As Su Changkong departed, Tang Ming furrowed his brow in thought, eventually letting out a sigh before getting up to prepare the items that Su Changkong had requested.

It was better not to offend such a person lightly, for the gain of several strands of Innate Qi would not outweigh the threat of incurring the wrath of such a dangerous individual!

After waiting in Feiyun City for three days, Su Changkong returned to Cangyun Pavilion. The disciples of Cangyun Pavilion very respectfully invited Su Changkong to the second floor.

“Two Innate Martial Artists…”

With just a brief glance, Su Changkong observed through spying on the flow of Spiritual Energy that there were two men in white clothes wandering on the first floor of Cangyun Pavilion who were also keeping an eye on his movements, intentionally or not.

It was clear to Su Changkong that these two people were most likely Innate Martial Artists from Cangyun Sect.

Even if Cangyun Sect really had no other thoughts, the fact that Su Changkong requested a large amount of goods still necessitated the presence of other Innate Martial Artists, to prevent any unexpected incidents, as a precaution.

Su Changkong shifted his gaze away and followed the disciple of Cangyun Pavilion up to a room on the second floor, where he met Tang Ming. In the room, there were several jade boxes, each containing ingredients for concocting Spirit Containment Pills.

In addition, there was a small chest, but even without concentrating, Su Changkong could feel the flow of Spiritual Energy inside the chest.

Upon seeing Su Changkong’s arrival, Tang Ming immediately stood up and introduced, “Brother Blade, these are the fifty portions of medicinal materials you asked for, as well as the Spirit Stones, please inspect them.”

Su Changkong did not waste words and began the inspection. First were the fifty portions of Spirit Containment Pill Medicine. He carefully observed whether the condition of these Spiritual Medicines was satisfactory, also concentrating his senses and leaning in to sniff carefully, investigating whether they had been tampered with, such as with things like Fragrance-recognition Bugs used for tracking.

Having learned from past mishaps in this regard, and with Su Changkong’s currently keen senses, being careful should allow him to detect such scents.

Tang Ming patiently waited, allowing Su Changkong to inspect, knowing that someone capable of reaching Su Changkong’s level was a cautious person. Even they, Cangyun Sect, had sent two of their sect’s Innate Martial Artists over as a precaution against any accidents.

All fifty portions of medicine checked out without any issues.

Next were the Spirit Stones. Su Changkong opened the chest, which contained Spirit Stones, not 5000 pieces but only 50.

However, these 50 Spirit Stones were different from the ones Su Changkong had seen before.

The Spirit Stones Su Changkong had obtained before were milky white, while the ones in this chest were silver in color, evidently of a higher grade!

Moreover, through the perception brought by the Guiding Technique, each of these silver Spirit Stones contained Spiritual Energy dozens to nearly a hundred times more concentrated than the milky white Spirit Stones he had previously encountered, so dense that the Spiritual Energy almost formed threads!

“Is this a medium-grade Spirit Stone?”

Su Changkong had also gained some knowledge since his arrival in Central State, and he immediately recognized that these were medium-grade Spirit Stones.

Su Changkong had read in the ancient scriptures of the Spirit Taoist Sect that the most common Spirit Stones were low-grade, milky in color; medium-grade were silver, and high-grade were pale gold, very recognizable.

Medium-grade Spirit Stones required stricter conditions to form and took longer to form than low-grade Spirit Stones, with one medium-grade Spirit Stone being worth a hundred low-grade Spirit Stones.

In this chest, there were a total of 50 medium-grade Spirit Stones, which, when converted to low-grade Spirit Stones, amounted to 5000 pieces. Su Changkong was very satisfied, as these were easier to carry.
