I have read the book in full and I can say that it can be 50-50 here.

The novel is translated well, it's good enough to read, don't listen to others. Sadly the ending is rushed and it could have been 1000 chapters.

Read up to chapter 250, just took a break to review. I think half of the downvotes are just from the fact that people saw the translator. The truth is this is an awesome novel. And I'll be honest, I don't know if the AI has gotten better, but I hardly noticed the translation on this one. While it's nothing profound, and can seem predictable at times, the fact is the story and the MC are enjoyable nonetheless. Cliche's like bandts exists everwhere the MC goes, the government being inept, and enemies coming out the woodwork even though MC is trying to be low-key. Even still, this novel still has me still reading.

I like the MC because even though he's ruthless to his enemies, he's not a murder hobo. He truly lives up to the sayings MCs always make "repay kindness with kindness, repay enmity with enmity." Most cultivation MCs you almost wonder what makes them different than the villianous young masters they face, this MC you you actually see the difference.

I remember reading the mtl of this. I'd say give it a try, in my opinion it was a good novel. The plot itself isn't that spectacular, but I think the greatest virtue of this novel is the world/atmosphere. I can't really describe it, but its something I liked a lot. Also the MC doesn't suck.
