Chapter 474: Divine Weapon Villa! Demon-Slicing Divine Weapon! (2)

Su Changkong caressed a longsword that shimmered with a bluish-green light.

“The sword is two feet and nine inches long, folded and hammered 81 times, and the edge is quenched with the chilling ice spring water… Yet, surprisingly, it’s not brittle at all; instead, it’s exceptionally sharp, capable of cutting through hair effortlessly, made of blue gold.”

After a brief observation, Su Changkong was able to deduce the forging technique used for this longsword, the materials employed, and even visualized a muscular man in his mind, wielding a hammer and forging this longsword.

Having broken through to the Innate realm and advanced his Turtle Breath Technique to the tenth level, his potential score had reached a staggering 51 points, far surpassing what it was when he had forged the Monster Wailing Blade. His talent and comprehension had reached inhuman levels!

“So… weapons can also be forged this way?”

Su Changkong became entirely immersed in the forging techniques of these weapons.

...

His own forging skill had already reached a transcendent state at the eighth level, with a solid foundation, but in reality, the forging techniques he mastered were quite limited.

However, the weapons from Divine Weapon Villa, each made with the most suitable forging technique, might not have been crafted by someone with greater technical skill than Su Changkong, but the diversity in techniques was vast.

This inspired Su Changkong to tirelessly observe and learn, assimilating these experiences for his own use.

“This pair of blades is divided into a main and a counter blade. Though they look identical on the outside, the forging techniques used are different; the former primarily employs fire-quenching, representing Yang, while the latter has been hammered and refined a thousand times to achieve a flexibility like Finger-wrapped Softness, representing Yin. These are the Yin-Yang Blades.”

Su Changkong then turned his attention to a pair of twin blades. With his hands caressing them and a combination of his formidable talent and extensive forging experience, he soon understood the forging process and techniques for these blades.

“What is this person doing?”

The other customers in the hall, who had come to select weapons, saw Su Changkong’s face alternating between deep thought and excitement, as he occasionally reached out to touch the weapons displayed on the rack, his expression one of sheer rapture as though what he touched was not the cold metal of weapons but the warm flesh of muscles, which gave them a sense of discomfort.

Su Changkong’s actions also caught the attention of the members of Casting Weapons Manor, and just then, a voice jarred Su Changkong back to alertness from his research.

“Young man, do you also understand the casting of weapons?” A slightly aged voice sounded in Su Changkong’s ear.

Su Changkong turned to look and saw a robust-looking elder. The hearty elder was curiously staring at Su Changkong; having observed him for a while, he realized Su Changkong seemed interested not in the weapons themselves but rather their crafting process, and so he inquired.

“I know a bit,” Su Changkong nodded, replying truthfully.

The muscular elder’s eyes flashed with a gleam upon hearing this. He reached out to pluck a longsword hanging on the wall and threw it to Su Changkong, saying in a grave voice, “What do you make of this sword?”

It was a three-foot-long sword with a crimson body and an ice blue edge.

Catching the longsword, Su Changkong examined and fingered it closely. His powerful intuition and rich forging experience conjured the vision of a burly figure working on a longsword within a cave where molten earth flowed. The figure wielded two hammers, one large and one small, smashing angrily with the large one, then lightly forging with the small one.

“This sword is three feet and one inch long, one inch and one fen wide, heavily hammered thirty-two thousand times, lightly hammered fifteen thousand times, with the edge quenched nine times, all accomplished over the course of 15 days… Logically, quenching it so many times should make the blade as fragile as a pancake, but this sword’s edge, however, is cold and ferocious, capable of slicing through iron like mud, truly masterful!”

After a moment’s contemplation, Su Changkong articulated the longsword’s forging process and techniques, even mentioning the exact time taken to craft it.

These words caused the aged figure with white hair to display a visibly moved expression because Su Changkong’s description was spot on to the smallest detail; it was a sword the elder himself had personally forged!

With only a brief inspection, Su Changkong was able to speak so precisely about the sword’s characteristics, proving that not only did this young man understand forging, but his skills were also exceptionally remarkable!

“Little Friend Su, may I have a word with you?”

The white-haired elder spoke, his interest in Su Changkong clearly aroused.

“Hmm.”

Su Changkong nodded slightly, not refusing the white-haired elder’s invitation.

In a guest room of Divine Weapon Villa, the white-haired elder introduced himself, “I am Lu Ya, a Forging Master from Divine Weapon Villa. May I know how to address you, young friend?”

Lu Ya, the white-haired elder, had a unique standing in Divine Weapon Villa; he was a Forge Master of the establishment.

Su Changkong bowed with his hands clasped: “I am Su Tailai.”

Su Changkong was using the name he had previously used at the Casting Department in Dafeng State City, where he had hid from the pursuit of the Mu Family. There, he had worked for almost half a year and had also forged the Monster Wailing Blade at a rebel camp.

“Little Friend Su, it seems you are proficient in forging. You didn’t come to our Divine Weapon Villa just to buy weapons, did you?”

Lu Ya asked tentatively, knowing that Su Changkong was skilled in forging, wondering why he would need to visit their Divine Weapon Villa to acquire weapons.

Su Changkong hesitated briefly before deciding to be a bit more candid. He had come to Divine Weapon Villa to seek the Demon-Slicing Divine Weapon, a purpose that was sure to come out sooner or later; it was better to state it directly.

Thereupon, Su Changkong said, “I have been fascinated with forging since I was young. I read in ancient scriptures about a kind of weapon named the Demon-Slicing Divine Weapon, and I am extremely interested in it. However, I do not know what exactly this Demon-Slicing Divine Weapon is like, nor how to forge it. There are rumors that even the ninth generation Flame Emperor highly praised the skills of Divine Weapon Villa, so I have traveled from afar to visit.”

“The Demon-Slicing Divine Weapon?” Upon hearing Su Changkong mention these words, Lu Ya’s expression changed.
