I got some backlash when I did not post a chapter last week. I understand the point my critics and fans of the novel were making. I would like to make my case and hope you read it before continuing to read the chapter. I appreciate all the support I have got from you guys.
I started translating the novel in late June. I was doing a part time job back then but had time to translate novels. I had many reasons for translating the novel (monetary gain was not the highest priority among them) You barely earn 0.3-0.4 USD for every 1000 views of a novel in Foxaholic. So, this was not my priority as I earned much more in my part time job. However, Covid has had a disastrous effect on my family as it has on many others around the world. I had not expected the disastrous financial situation of the family at that time. My father barely earns anything nowadays. While my university has been kind enough to give me loan to continue my studies, we have no idea the scale of impact Covid will have in the next few months (and years) on the economy. Whether the economy will recover quickly after this shock. Thus, I have been looking for more ways to earn money in the last month. I had earlier stopped posting two parts of each chapter which has effectively reduced my earnings in half. I have taken another part time job and tried to participate in the competition because I have been thinking a stretch of chapters released every day after a small break will bring more viewership than 4 chapter per week. While the previous announcement was done in a lighthearted manner, I have more than bragging rights on the line for making such a decision. I know this has caused some fans to be upset and I sincerely apologize for that. I just ask you to be patient with me and continue supporting me through these trying times.
So without further ado, onto the chapter

“F**k! You f**cking witches, you pinched yourself and are now framing me, right?” Ye Feng was unable to bear this drama any longer. He was drunk and also enraged; thus, he directly pushed away Long Wu and the other staff members, and then rushed to Xiao Hong and Xiao Fang, slapping them both.
He controlled his power; otherwise, he could have blasted away their heads away with a single slap.
However, a sharp and clear sound still echoed throughout the room.
Seeing this, Yan Ruyue’s loathing for Ye Feng increased even more in her heart. She felt extreme disgust for Ye Feng.
He first got himself heavily drunk, then bullied the accompanying female hosts and now had even resorted to hitting them.
His actions were strikingly like those of her father, who also engaged in domestic violence. Thus, she loathed Ye Feng even more.

Ye Feng could only stand awkwardly and giggle facing Lin Yuan.
Lin Yuan suddenly opened his mouth to say, “Yes, customer, you have not groped anybody.”
Ye Feng smiled upon hearing his words, “He He He! You are correct.”
“But…” Lin Yuan took a long pause before continuing, “But, customer, you are suspected of drinking heavily, and under the influence of alcohol injuring other people, destroying property, causing trouble, etc. I have already reported your wrongdoings to the police.”
“The police should arrive here soon.”

Translators Comment– This is a great character moment for Long Wu and Lin Yuan, so I will add some commentary. You can read it if you want and leave if you don’t want.
Long Wu plays a fantastic role in this chapter. Go back and read the last chapter when he said that I understand you have spent generously in the clubhouse but you cannot molest our lady hosts. He knows that Lin Yuan is at the door when he performs the drama. In this chapter, when Lin Yuan was mocking Ye Feng for being poor in the guise of helping him. Long Wu jumped at Ye Feng asking him (the destitute guy) to leave the clubhouse. Ye Fen then flaunts his wealth to which Long Wu counterattacks again by saying how many girls did you molest with your wealth.
This was a systematic cornering of Ye Feng and a portrayal of him as rich, arrogant dude who does not respect woman at all. Lin Yuan tries to save him by pointing that he does not seem to be a bad person (when he was exactly sounding like one) giving Long Wu and the cast the opportunity to slander him with insurmountable evidence. Of course, the only audience for this drama our heroine, Yan Ruyue was manipulated without even knowing it. I have to give credit to Lin Yuan, the director of the film. He is a superb manipulator of emotions. Ye Feng did not want to be seen as a bad guy but neither did he want to be humiliated as a destitute guy in front of Yan Ruyue which meant that he was played like a puppet in their hands and finally lost it under their systematic persecution. The two are a deadly combination and exploited psychological behaviour of him very well.
You also have to love the dialogue of Lin Yuan at the end when he shell-shocked Ye Feng by saying that he had called the police. It was really chick the way he said.
