Chapter 1602: Chapter 1602. A Small Outing and Cold Fury.

Yasenia picked up Asterion, the maids cleaning up the formation behind them. Glancing down at her handsome boy, Yasenia chuckled. "You are quite talented, aren't you?"

Asterion's tail coiled around Yasenia's arm as he spoke proudly. "I am Mommy's Son. Of course I am!"

Yasenia patted his butt. "Alright, don't get too overconfident. Without effort, talent means nothing. You must not slack!"

Asterion, hearing the seriousness in her words, quickly nodded. In his mind, he could see the fuzzy images of Yasenia constantly training and becoming stronger. So, he had never felt that his strength was easy to get.

Seeing his serious little face nodding, Yasenia pecked his lips with a laugh. "Alright, baby. Let's go walk around now. We can buy some toys and things like that."

Even if he was strong and could train, he was, after all, a baby. So, for the next few months, Yasenia and the other girls only trained him in the mornings and right before bed. The rest of the day, they spent in leisure and walking around.

Asterion got to know Feixue a little bit during this time, calling her Big Sister. Of course, with his handsome little face and cheerful call, Feixue had a hard time not rushing over and crushing the boy into a tight hug. 'Aster is just too cute!'

He was cheerful, but he also acted like a small adult, making the maids and girls squeal in delight.

While walking outside, Yasenia entered one of the few shops that gained her interest. Their group was not too large, about 20 people. All the girls, one personal maid for each girl, and Xyrona momentarily acting as Asterion's exclusive bodyguard.

Inside this shop, full of interesting gadgets, a calm middle-aged man welcomed them with a smile. "Oh, if it isn't the gorgeous Dravory family. Your presence truly makes my humble shook look brighter."

Yasenia chuckled at the good-natured praise. "Thank you. So, Uncle Dan, have you built it?"

The middle aged man stood up with a grunt, even when he was a peak mortal cultivator, and smiled. "Indeed I have."

Yasenia was using charm suppression techniques so as to not cause too much of a commotion, and the other girls wore veils or other conservative pieces of clothing.

Only Asterion was wearing a nice blue-colored children's robe with golden dragons. The colors perfectly emulated those of his tail, making him look very cute.

When the man returned, he had a sphere-like thing in his hand. Then, Uncle Dan threw the thing at Asterion, who jumped up to catch it. With bright eyes, Asterion tapped the sphere, and it changed into a wooden doll about his height.

"Hehehe!" Asterion moved right, and the doll moved as well. When he jumped, the doll jumped as high.

It was basically an imitator. A simple gadget. The making process for perfect imitation, even for someone as strong as Aster, was not that simple, though.

Yasenia saw Aster play, circling the doll while the doll circled him. Then, he chased after the doll's tail. "I'll catch you! Hahaha!"

Of course, the doll was perfectly copying Aster, so both began running in circles at a speed that made them a blur.

Uncle Dan looked away. "So dizzy. Your son is as energetic as always, Lady Yasenia."

Yasenia chuckled. "He is quite active, yes. The doll came out very well. Here, a little extra for your efforts."

It was not that Andrea and the other girls couldn't make something similar. However, why lose their time on that when they could just ask someone to do it for them?

Of course, each of the girls had used their knowledge to create some small trinkets, toys, and gifts for Asterion. Who wouldn't want to pamper the adorable little boy?

With that toy in hand, Yasenia looked around. "Do you have anything new?"

Uncle Dan shook his head. "Nothing much. A few trinkets here and there."

"Hum~."

Yasenia's nose twitched, and she moved. She arrived in front of a strange disk full of markings. "What is this, Uncle Dan?"

"That disk? It is something useless. I bought it thinking I could decipher how to open it, but that's not the case at all. I placed it there to resell it."

Yasenia nodded and smiled faintly. "I'll take it. How much is it?"

The price was more than affordable, and soon, they left the shop. Asterion was playing with his clone, while Yasenia flipped the strange disk around.

Angel approached and blinked. "The formations are quite profound, but nothing special. Why did you take it?"

Yasenia blinked. "It was the treasure that smelled the best in the shop. So, I got it. It's probably a mid-level Transcendence Ranked treasure."

Andrea was surprised. "No wonder you were so generous. I was thinking that you became desensitized to money after having enough to make a house with it."

Evelyn snorted a laugh. "Yasenia desensitized to money? Andrea, have you been playing too much with Aster and had your brain deteriorate?"

Andrea bonked Evelyn's head. "Any reason for wording it that way, you annoying brat?"

Evelyn pouted. "I am jealous you get to play with your son, but I don't with my tall and voluptuous Skye!"

Andrea rolled her eyes. "Do you think I don't miss Dawn?"

Kali glanced at Tatayna. "Speaking of them. How are they doing?"

Tatyana laughed. "Why do you think I know?"

Cecile answered flatly. "As if you would let something happen to Estrella."

Tatyana raised her arms. "Alright, alright. I do have some spies around them. Kaleina, that girl, is doing quite well lately. She has become a grand elder of a sect, achieving the Mythical Core Realm not long ago. I must say, as expected of the eldest baby!"

Yasenia puffed her chest in pride. Her baby, Kaleina, was her pride and joy!

"Around the same time, our girls have also managed to cross the hurdle and have also reached the Sixth Realm."

Yasenia puffed her chest in pride. Her babies, all of them, were her pride and joy!

Evelyn was surprised. "Already? They are only a little over a hundred years old!"

Unlike them, who had been "fed" by Yasenia through Dual Cultivation, massively boosting their cultivation speed, those girls have been exploring the cultivation world alone.

Yasenia humphed. "My babies, of course, they are talented!"

Evelyn teased. "What if they were not talented?"

Yasenia humphed. "My babies, of course, they are lovely!"

Evelyn raised her eyebrow. "What if they are not beautiful?"

Yasenia humphed. "My babies, of course, they are my precious darlings!"

Evelyn and the rest of the girls were about to burst into laughter. Stifling that laughter, Evelyn asked. "What if they rebel against you or hate you?"

Yasenia humphed. "My babies, of course, they must have been wronged, and Mommy is going to beat up the baddies and kiss them until they are giggling and happy!"

Evelyn finally couldn't hold it and burst into laughter. "You are so adorable, love. Hahaha."

Hugging Yasenia's arm, Evelyn couldn't help but love Yasenia more and more. 'Sigh, is there a limit to how absolutely lovely an individual can be?'

"Mommy!"

As they were talking, Asterion returned, grabbing the back of a robed man with Xyrona walking casually behind him. Yasenia blinked. "What is this?"

"I don't know. This uncle wanted to get me, so Aunty Xyrona beat him up!"

Yasenia's smile didn't disappear, but an invisible pressure took over the surroundings, making mortal passersbys feel as if their hearts were about to burst.

Thankfully, Yasenia reined in her feelings before that. "I see. What a bad uncle. Since he dared to do bad things, how about we use him as Aster's practice dummy?"

Asterion smiled. "Alright!"

Yasenia flicked her finger, a needle deeply embedded in one of the most painful places in the body. "AHHH—!"

His scream was cut off as another needle pierced his voice acupuncture point. Looking at the twitching man, Asterion looked on with a bit of confusion. "Why did he stop screaming? Mommy threw another needle."

Kali, hugging Asterion in her arms, explained with a smile as Yasenia dragged that person away. "That's because your Mommy stopped his voice with the second needle."

"Is that…"

Asterion frowned, trying to recall. Kali couldn't help but want to nibble on his round cheek. 'His frowning face is so cute~.'

"...Ah! I remember. Acupuncture!"

Kali kissed his cheek with a loud smack. "Our Aster is so clever~."

Meanwhile, Yasenia's hands were currently roaming inside the man's body, her fingers coated in energy as she triggered the most painful points of the body. The man was spasming and pissing himself in pure pain, his eyes bulging out as some blood vessels burst.

"I will ask one time. One time only. If you don't answer truthfully, I will torment you like this for as long as you can live, am I clear?"

Xyrona glanced at the man with a mocking look. 'Angering Young Miss? Let's hear who has decided to become suicidal.'

So, after the needle suppressing his voice was released, the man howled without even a shred of hesitation. "DUNESEEKERS! IT WAS THEM! PLEASE KILL ME NOW! PLEASE!"

Yasenia blocked his voice again and stood up. "Take him to Ilarune and Raciela. Tell them to clear his thoughts of any nonsense. Asterion only needs a training doll, not a living person."

Xyrona bowed and dragged him away. To refresh your memory, Ilarune was the music-expert maid who taught Yasenia how to play Dramel in the past. Meanwhile, Raciela was pink-haired and eyed, a fairy-like winged humanoid maid, an expert in illusions and other mental attacks, who mastered Fate Energy to a very high degree.

Falling into the hands of those two was one of the many worse than death fates when falling into Yasenia's clutches.

As she walked back, she was a bit confused. "Duneseekers. Aren't those some random mercenary group that works in the desert? When did I provoke them?"

Their strength was high for the area, but any single maid of hers was enough to raze the place to the ground. So, she was confused about why these people would suddenly target her.

"Doriel."

From Yasenia's shadow, the woman with abyss-like pitch-black eyes appeared, her posture respectful. "Young Miss."

Yasenia looked at her, finding her completely black eyes somewhat mesmerizing for a moment. Snapping to focus, Yasenia spoke. "Bring me the leader of the Duneseekers. She was a woman of the reptile-kin race or something, right? I recall skimming about her when reading the reports."

Doriel nodded. "As you wish."

Then, Doriel merged into the shadows again and rushed across the desert toward the headquarters of the Duneseekers.

As she left, Yasenia pondered. 'Someone is provoking this group… are they trying to use me as a cleaning broom or something?'

A faint sneer appeared at the edge of her lips. 'If they think I will react like a wild bull because my Aster has been targeted, they are truly underestimating me.'

On the contrary, the angrier Yasenia was, the more rational her head became. That was why she was terrifying when causing massive destruction. The destruction was not a product of blind anger, but cold fury.

Right now, that fury had become as deep as the sea, and someone was about to pay a very dear price.
