Catherine waited for him to explain, but Isaac simply smiled.
He was waiting for her to ask how he could do it.
The two of them had always engaged in war of wits. Neither liked giving ground, and both constantly looked for opportunities to gain an upper hand.
Right now, Isaac was openly showing that he wanted Catherine to ask him for something. If she did, then he would have won this round.
Catherine stared at him for several seconds before finally caving in.
"How can you increase my strength?" Catherine asked.
Isaac’s smile widened slightly.
"That’s a secret. But first, let’s talk about payment. I need to go to huge lengths to give you a boost that can make you five times stronger. Since I’m doing so much, surely I will get an appropriate payment?"
The way he emphasized the word payment made his meaning obvious.
"Since when did my little brother become so bold?"
"Since I conquered you in bed," he answered with a smile.
Catherine’s smile remained on her face, but Isaac noticed the brief flash of irritation in her eyes.
She disliked that incident. No, that wasn’t entirely true.
She had enjoyed it, thoroughly. Even now, she couldn’t help but want that pleasure again. What she did dislike though was the fact that Isaac now held leverage over her because of it.
Catherine liked being the one in control, and Isaac had managed to disrupt that balance.
"Don’t worry about the payment I have a very nice surprise for you," Catherine said with a playful wink after a while.
A small shiver ran down Isaac’s spine. For a moment, he felt as if he had stepped into a trap. Still, he quickly regained his composure.
Over time, he had become used to Catherine’s teasing, and he also knew one of her biggest weaknesses in the bed. As far as he could tell, there was no way she could reverse their current dynamic.
’She’s probably bluffing,’ he thought.
"Okay then. Give me a moment."
In truth, Isaac wasn’t expecting any payment at all. He had only been teasing her.
After receiving her confirmation, Isaac lightly tapped the table.
A ripple spread across its surface.
The wooden tabletop suddenly looked like water. Small waves formed and expanded outward, growing larger and larger until they spread throughout the entire room.
Then they continued beyond it. Wherever the ripples passed, people vanished. One after another. Within moments, everyone had disappeared.
Only Isaac and Catherine remained.
They were now inside a Mirror Dimension.
Catherine silently observed the process while Isaac opened his System Shop.
A familiar screen appeared before him.

Isaac stared at the screen, then he nodded inwardly. As expected, his System had completely lost its mind.
Even before spending months inside the Moonline Trial, he had stopped purchasing items from the Time Limited Shop.
It wasn’t because the shop lacked products. The problem was that the products had become increasingly bizarre.
’Spank. An S-Rank skill.’
Isaac rubbed his forehead.
’There isn’t even a description, but I can already tell it’s a skill for spanking. Why the hell does an S-Rank skill like that even exist?’
’What would it possibly do?’
His gaze moved downward.
’And what exactly is a Cute Butt-Plug Tail? Why is it more expensive than the next S-Rank skill?’
He didn’t even need to know what kind of ability the last item had.
Just looking at the first two was enough to tell him that nothing good could possibly come from the third.
Long ago, Isaac had believed the System was providing items that would help his wives. Now he wasn’t so sure. Every item appearing in the Time Limited Shop lately had been completely useless.
It almost felt as if the System was telling him that the newbie phase was over.
If he wanted something valuable, then he should stop relying on discounts and start purchasing items from the Main Shop instead.
At least one thing still made him happy.
His AP balance.
’Over thirty million AP.’
Isaac couldn’t help feeling satisfied whenever he looked at that number.
More than ninety-five percent of it had come from the six months he and Alice spent together inside the Moonline Trial.
The strange thing was that six months had passed for them while only a short amount of time had passed in reality.
Alice and Isaac had lived through the Trial’s accelerated timeline, so Isaac received AP according to that stretched period. The rest of his wives remained outside, meaning the AP generated from them followed normal time.
Naturally, Alice had become his greatest source of AP.
He had spoiled her endlessly during those six months. The results were obvious.
Without hesitation, Isaac closed the Time Limited Shop and opened the Main Shop.
Unlike the Time Limited Shop, which provided massive discounts, the Main Shop sold everything at full price.
That was the main reason Isaac had waited so long.
Why buy something at full cost when patience could save ninety percent?
Unfortunately, today’s situation had reminded him that waiting forever wasn’t an option.
His wives needed to become stronger.
The enemies they faced were becoming increasingly dangerous, and Isaac couldn’t continue relying on luck and timing.
’Alice was already able to fight Apex Overlords.’
Even if it lasted only a short while, the fact remained impressive.
Her Conqueror Candidate title, dragon heritage, and powerful healing abilities had allowed her to stand against opponents far beyond her normal level.
To be exact, the biggest contribution had come from her Conqueror Candidate title. The title itself was absurdly powerful and granted benefits that ordinary awakeners could never hope to obtain. Without it, Alice would never have been able to challenge opponents that far above her level.
Catherine possessed that title as well.
Alice’s stats were currently maxed at 2000 as she was Adept rank. Catherine, being Champion, had the limit of 5000 per stat.
If Alice could fight Apex Overlords...
How strong would Catherine become if Isaac maxed out all of her stats?
The thought genuinely excited him. Even if Catherine didn’t become as strong as Avery, she probably wouldn’t be far behind. Considering her combat experience and natural talent, she might become one of the strongest people under him.
