Chapter 1791: Supreme Saint Will |
Wang Wei was familiar with the power that broke through his array; it was something that all life has to be called sentient — a soul. "Did the Soul Chaos Demon God respond to his call? Does that mean the latter is still alive?" All these questions rushed into Wang Wei’s mind, but he had no answers.
The second-step Void Breathing Talisman in Wang Wei’s Sea of Consciousness was ready to be utilized. Although Wang Wei felt it would be a waste to stop now, his life was more valuable than any benefit or grand plan. However, he did not immediately activate because the danger warning he sensed was not overwhelming; a part of him felt there might still be room to salvage the situation.
An unknown power descended from the void directly into Shen Tian’s body. It first stopped Wang Wei’s attempt at interrupting before focusing on God’s situation. First, it eliminated the backlash from Shen Tian’s spell to borrow strength from his past self. Finally, the unknown power began rapidly increasing Shen Tian’s physical cultivation.
In a matter of seconds, three artificial Saint Foundations were embedded into the latter’s body along with the artificial and forceful fusion of all three gates. Shen Tian’s Will Power Manifestation condensed, purified, and used a God’s natural sovereignty and domineering spirit to elevate it to a higher level. However, this was not the end. The transformation did not stop at that level; it surpassed this realm and reached the state Wang Wei has been thinking about for the past few million years.
Shen Tian clenched his fists as he sensed the power coursing through his veins. He glanced at Wang Wei with blood-red, demonic eyes devoid of any emotion except anger, hatred, and wrath. "I will make you pay." The hatred of losing his child cannot be understood by anyone who hasn’t been in the same situation.
"That’s it?" Wang Wei asked, genuinely puzzled. "You sacrificed everything only for this level of power?" He suddenly laughed boisterously. He’s been thinking about how to achieve the Saint Will Prototype, and someone sends him a practice dummy.
"You bastard!" Shen Tian roared. The response to his temper was a punch to his face. Wang Wei did not care about the latter’s mood or the sudden increase in power. In his time, the current Shen Tian was the perfect practice dummy. Who cares that the dummy thinks?
The terrifying punch should have destroyed Shen Tian’s head, if not his entire body. However, reinforced by the artificially created Saint Will Prototype, his head only cocked backward, and he took a few steps backward in the void, leaving space cracks on his path.
"Die, you piece of shit," Shen Tian roared. His voice was not the only thunderous sound echoing between Heaven and Earth as primordial lightning and thunder followed his fist. The wrath of a God can make Heaven and Earth tremble in fear; the wrath of a grieving father can sunder all creation.

Wang Wei was once again pushed back, and this time around, all the bones in his arms shattered. He had tried to upset the power of the lightning and even the force of the punch with his higher Power of Nothingness. However, he underestimates the domineering nature of the Saint Will.
It did not care about the fact that [nothingness] was a higher power, a form of taboo, or any of the prestige associated with that attribute. Since its owner — Shen Tian — wished to deal with it, the Saint Will forcibly suppresses anything that stands in its way.
"The power reminded me of an even more concentrated version of my fleshly body’s [Phenomena Rejection]," Wang Wei analyzed. Numerous ideas and analyses flashed in his mind about the current situation. In terms of raw strength, techniques, and even battle using the fleshly body, Wang Wei still outclassed Shen Tian, even though they were both 5-star Ancestor Fiendgods. Unfortunately, with only the difference of the Saint Will, Wang Wei was suppressed.
"I could use my Proving Dao Artifact, stack my defense, and last long enough until that power runs out," Wang Wei analyzed. His artifact has been nourished with his blood and essence as his cultivation increased. With its aid, Wang Wei could easily win this battle. No, there are even easier ways to win as long as he uses the Time Skipping Orb. However, Wang Wei remembered his main objective.
"Fine. Let’s be a bit crazy."
His fighting blood boiled, and all his wisdom and intelligence were replaced by the savagery that comes from the purest desire for battle. "This power is the permanent combination of all the different [Will] of a cultivator, their innate characteristics that granted them One Blood Drop Rebirth, and the [Phenomena Rejection] of the fleshly body?" Wang Wei analyzed. Logically speaking, this deduction makes sense. A Saint’s Will is manifested after fusing all the powers of their bodies. However, Wang Wei was puzzled about something.
People who cannot enter the Ancestral Fiendgod Realm will not sublimate their [Limit Indestructibility] into [Phenomena Rejection]. So, how can they achieve a Saint Will Prototype? There must be a unique path for Qi Refiners or individuals who do not walk the True Power Dao.

Wang Wei’s fists exploded into a mist of blood, but his face remained expressionless. As Shen Tian reached out for a killing move, he raised his legs to block. As before, this attack should have shattered or cracked the bones, but this time, only a small skin scratch occurred.
"You!" Shen Tian’s divine eyes could see that the enemy had successfully elevated their Will Domination to a Saint Will Prototype. "No, he didn’t succeed. He only achieved partial fusion."
The God-King was correct. Wang Wei had only partially fused all his powers. He lacked a certain medium to achieve the permanent fusion. However, this incomplete Saint Will Prototype was enough for this battle. A pair of arms regenerated, and Wang Wei even went on the offensive. Meanwhile, the mad Shen Tian started burning his flesh and blood to gain even more power.
"What a madman," Wang Wei thought. However, he wondered why the Soul Chaos Demon God didn’t stop its sacrifice from ruining itself. Regardless of the truth, Wang Wei focused on analyzing the opponent’s powers and finding the key to condensing his second Saint trait.
"There are two paths to condensing a Saint Will," Wang Wei deduced. "The Qi Refiner Path and the Body Refining Path. The former relies on their [Dao Body] and Dao Will to develop a Will that can eventually [suppress] all phenomena.
"The latter relies on their blood and flesh, and the Willpower Manifestation to develop a Will that can eventually [reject] all phenomena. As the saying goes, all paths lead to the same destination."
The light of wisdom flashed deep in Wang Wei’s body as he analyzed every inch of Shen Tian’s body. "This bastard’s Saint Will is a unique one that combines both paths. Is this why he was chosen? As an experiment to determine what will happen if both those paths achieve a Saint Will?"
Wang Wei was beyond excited. Shen Tian was not only showing him the way, but a path to a supreme and unique Saint trait. So, he excitedly observed, felt, and recorded everything. Sadly, his joy was soon replaced by an abundance of annoyance.
Shen Tian himself was also a false or incomplete Saint Will Prototype. The medium used to combine all these different powers into one — especially the different ones from Body Refiners and Qi Refiners — was the Soul Chaos Demon God’s power. Wang Wei couldn’t use such a medium, since that would mean handing his life over to another being, so he needed to find his own to reach Shen Tian’s level.
"The only good news is I can learn the method of fusion," he thought. While the medium was out of the question, the brilliant method the Soul Chaos Demon God used to combine so many powers was a work of art. Wang Wei did not hesitate to learn and copy, forming an incomplete Supreme Saint Will Prototype.
