First, I would like to apologize for my absence. I promised to release the new novel in November last year, but now it's already February of the next year. I feel especially bad for my Patr**n, who continued to support me despite the months without any new content. You guys are the best. But now, I finally have an update.

The new book, [Earth's Magical Civilization], will be released on March 16, 2026, no matter what. Over the past few months, I've had the worst case of writer's block derived from imposter syndrome. Every time I tried to write a chapter, the fear that this new book would be a failure stopped me. Adding on the guilt of getting money without doing anything, my mental state was in the gutter. In the past, I could rely on the crutch of fanfiction to guarantee readers and a fanbase, but now, this is a brand-new original novel: I have to do everything myself.

I kept revising the outline, thinking that if it were perfect, I'd be guaranteed success. However, we all know that's not how the world works. Back when I first released [Journey of the Fate Destroying Emperor], I was at a very low point in my life, and I realized that I needed to make some changes or I wouldn't survive for long. But now that I'm in a happier and more secure position in my life, it's harder to take risks.

I have worked through my issues and am now more determined than ever to write this book — whether it succeeds or not. It will be a crucial step in my career as a writer — no matter the outcome, I will treat it as a learning experience and an opportunity for growth.

Alright, that's enough for all the sentimentality. For this book, I plan to do something different: I will not sign a contract with Webnovel. I want to do things my way, and only if that doesn't work will I consider signing a contract. In the spirit of transparency, I will share how things will unfold.

First, I will release the first 100 or more chapters for free on platforms such as Webnovel, Royal Road, and Scribble Hub. Patr**n will be the place where readers can support me. Before the story is "officially released," there will be three tiers.

Tier 1 (lowest) will be $3 and allow readers to read 2 chapters ahead. Tier 2 (middle) will be $5 and grant 5 advanced chapters. Tier 3 (upper) will be $10 and grant 10 advanced chapters. I WILL NOT add prices to the chapters as Webnovel does. I repeat, I WILL NOT add prices to individual chapters.

Once the story is officially released, I will no longer release free chapters. Tier 1 will become the key to continued reading. In other words, if you want to keep up with the story, you only need to pay $3 a month. For now, I do not plan to raise the price, but the global economy is in a terrible state, and I might not have a choice.

The release schedule will be 5 chapters a week for the first few months, then I'll raise it to 7 and maybe more. On the launch day, the first five chapters will be released on all free websites, along with the advanced 10 chapters on Patr**n.

I appreciate anyone who supports my work, but I also understand that most people cannot do so financially. But there are other forms of support. Without a contract from Webnovel, I will have to rely on you guys to spread the word about my book.
