The four Blazing Sun seventh ranks didn’t have time to dwell on the changes in the battlefield before someone appeared with a crown on his head and an instructor’s pointer. He aimed it at one of the seventh rank’s heads.
“Bad student!” the man said calmly.
Bam!
It was a direct hit on the domineering seventh rank. The pointer smashed the man’s head apart like it was a block of tofu. It shattered into nothing, giving way to a brilliant sun!
This was the dao mark of those from Blazing Sun!
The page of a book appeared and absorbed the sun. It instantly vanished afterward.
A seventh rank had died so easily, just like that!
The remaining three seventh ranks paled with horror. What kind of dao was that?!
Being enveloped by the net, they were frozen in place and perfect targets for the supreme.
The pointer rose once again, gently tapping one of the exalted emperors. The latter’s expression shifted dramatically and he roared, erupting with great dao. A fiery sun appeared and snapped the threads of the dao net around him.
He was just sighing with relief when the supreme shouted angrily. Having been coolly composed moments before, he suddenly threw down the pointer. Supreme Zhang darted in front of the other with his fists balled up, smashing the man in the face.
That was the starter to the supreme delivering a barrage of ten thousand punches!
KABOOM!
The seventh rank outright exploded.
“How dare you resist your tutelage?!” snarled the supreme. You just need to be a good boy and wait for death! How dare you fight back!
Next to him, the three New Martial exalted emperors watched with wooden expressions. Did the Human King learn his style from you, or are you imitating the Human King? Or are you influencing each other because you’ve been together for one thousand years?
The supreme had pummeled one of the seventh ranks to death in the throes of extreme rage. He shouted at the three New Martial exalted emperors, “What are you guys waiting for?? Get to work and kill people!”
The three exalted emperors made their moves!
The Blazing Sun side could fight the invaders to a standstill when they’d possessed four seventh ranks. They’d even been able to retain the upper hand. But the tables had turned in the blink of an eye!
The eighth rank gaped at the abrupt change in fortune. He shouted and sent Fog Mountain flying with a punch, then made good his escape. Blazing Sun was done for! Two of the four seventh ranks were suddenly dead. The remaining two didn’t have much longer to live either.
He needed to get out of here!
Fog Mountain wanted to stop the eighth rank from getting away, but the supreme bellowed, “Don’t force him into a corner!”
Fog Mountain blinked. Were they not going to chase after the man?
Boom!
The remaining seventh ranks were instantly obliterated. The Heavenly Dog and the rest rushed through the battlefield, mowing down mid and low ranks.
Drenched in blood, Fog Mountain quickly joined the group. He was lost, shaken, and regretful. “We stood a chance of killing him if I stopped him…”
There were so many heavyweights on their side. These people absolutely could’ve stopped him.
The supreme simply glanced in the direction that the other had run in and smiled meaningfully. “There’s no rush. How will we know where his world is if he doesn’t run?”
“Hmm?”
“We have enough yang qi for now, but New Martial has too many sixth ranks!” murmured the supreme. “Do we really have to massacre the entire four regions? That would not be ideal.
“Gemini has an eighth rank dao universe and must have an enormous world if it can support two eighth ranks. They will be stronger than their peers, so they’ll have at least seven or eight seventh ranks, won’t they?”
“……” Fog Mountain felt that he was consorting with a bunch of lunatics!
“Sun God, Eternal Sword, and Li Zhu!” the supreme laughed loudly. “You will assist the Exalted Fog Mountain Emperor and chase after our enemy! Chase him out of the four regions!”
Fog Mountain blinked. Why were they pursuing the man now?
Ah, I get it. We’re giving him a chance to get away, aren’t we? We don’t want him to stay in the four regions. He needs to leave and go back to his world?
But seriously, these crazies are really scary.
Fog Mountain quickly darted into the void with the other three and pursued the fleeing eighth rank. Fog Mountain had also discovered that these guys worked very well together. They each chose a direction and promptly split off.
If the eighth rank didn’t want to be entangled in further fighting, he could only escape through Thunder Region and seek survival outside!
As expected, the eighth rank immediately set course for Thunder Region when he felt the presences behind him. He’d been thinking of staying in the four regions and waiting for his brother’s return.
That wasn’t an option anymore! He needed to get back to his world first, mobilize the other seventh ranks, and then return to this place to seek out his brother!
The eighth rank ground his teeth. Things really had taken a turn for the worse!
Thank goodness I got away fast enough!
He disappeared, darting into Thunder Region and running off.
The exalted emperors behind him immediately arrived, watching the man get away. They waited for a few moments to ensure that he really was gone.
“He left,” chuckled the Sun God. “Looks like the Martial King’s left something on this guy again…”
Li Zhu inclined his head. “The Martial King’s dao is too varied and numerous,” he said calmly. “He actually seems a bit like the Silver Moon kid… No, it’s Li Hao of Silver Moon who’s kind of like him.”
This wasn’t an insult to the Martial King since he was the senior. The dao of replicas seemed a bit similar to the dao of attachment. It was more obscure, which meant that there must be a Martial King replica on that guy!
“This guy’s collected replicas of a thousand daos over the past one thousand years.” Li Zhu narrowed his eyes. “Each of them have verified their dao. How much energy has he siphoned off from New Martial??
“He’s pursuing personal gain from his official duties! I’m going to lodge an official complaint against him when Fang Ping returns!”
The Sun God picked at his ears and didn’t make a sound. The Sword Sovereign looked upward and also didn’t make a sound.
Complain all you want! But I do have to say, Ole Zhang is too black-hearted. Although New Martial has difficulties becoming an eighth rank world, the world itself continuously absorbed dao strength. It also has twin dao universes of yin and yang.
A seventh rank world with twin dao universes… and many of New Martial’s exalted emperors leaving the dao universe…
But he quietly absorbed a ton of dao strength. So much that he could create one thousand exalted emperor-level replicas! He must have embezzled a ton!
Those replicas were enough to produce several more seventh ranks!
The Sword Sovereign continued his litany. I would’ve long reached seventh rank if I had those replicas! Ole Zhang is too much. If Li Zhu really does send in a complaint, I’ll have to follow suit with a report!
But the Sword Sovereign was also slightly envious of the supreme being so strong. He didn’t dare consider himself as one of the strongest attackers among seventh ranks since his ascension had been so recent.
He was, however, a premier existence among seventh ranks and could go toe-to-toe with regular world masters.
But Ole Zhang… could flick a seventh rank to death. Who was stronger, him or Fang Ping?

When New Martial killed the four Blazing Sun seventh ranks.

The Blazing Sun master had been greatly reassured since it seemed that the four seventh ranks managed to occupy a significant advantage. The Blazing Sun great dao also seemed very stable without signs of being shattered.
He was so reassured that he relaxed, no longer prepared to extract all of Blazing Sun’s strength at the drop of a hat. If he did so, that might cause the four seventh ranks to perish when they could’ve defended their home world. He would lose an eighth rank major world and dao universe then.
It was best if he didn’t have to become a wandering cultivator.
Apart from the Blazing Sun energy he’d kept, the remaining Blazing Sun strength could be doled out to his people as needed. Nothing was a problem so long as they hung onto the world!
Everything had been quite stable when…
It was just a split second, truly. He sensed a dao star shattering in the dao universe, followed by a second, third, and fourth…
The dao universe shook wildly as all four seventh ranks died in the same instant!
The Blazing Sun master vomited a copious mouthful of blood. Immense Blazing Sun strength flowed outward. His eyes were wide open with shock!
Killing four seventh ranks at once?? How was that possible?! What was going on??
The four seventh ranks had been perfectly fine and even in peak condition! How could they die so spontaneously?
There was no time to goggle as the dao universe swung madly from the deaths of the four seventh ranks. Everything would be truly over if he didn’t quickly disengage himself. New Martial would be attacking his dao universe next and shattering the dao origin!
“Bastards!” The Blazing Sun master furiously extracted dao strength and disengaged from his dao universe! Damn it!
I’m a wandering cultivator too now! I was just laughing at Skycloud, but look at me now! Red Moon and Skycloud will love this!
How is New Martial so damn strong? I had four seventh ranks and one eighth rank holding down the fort! But judging from the guy next to me… his brother… seems fine. Has his brother run off?!
The Blazing Sun master cursed to himself when the possibility occurred to him. This must have been what happened! Otherwise, this guy would sense his brother’s death. He wouldn’t look around like this with a face full of surprise. It looks like he doesn’t know what’s going on either.
Damn it!
In contrast, the Human King brightened with joy. They’d finally conquered Blazing Sun! My turn to cut down their world master then! This wouldn’t be as perfect otherwise.
He sprang into motion and charged the other with an upraised sword!
