    Classic Toika novel, with OP protag steadily growing and defeating enemies, with an overall comedic tone and attitude.

    However, as per classic Toika novel, ending is quite abrupt, despite the overall progression not being overly rushed.



    Overall, decent novel. Would recommend reading with little to no brain activity.

    My only complaint about these toika novels were his clumsy finishings. It's not like 'it's so bad' but toika's endings were bit rushed so, it's a kinda unsatisfactory.

    But if toika wrote one or two after stories, then it wouldn't a problem. EER is my most favourite of toika's with satisfactory ending (atleast for me) and tons of after stories. If only toika can do that to their other novels then I have no complaints.

    Stop! Friendly fire is a good read to pass time. I had a good laugh many times.

    Just give it a try for atleast 50 or so chapters.

    I quite enjoyed this novel, and that despite disliking system novels most of the time.
    I liked the flow, the planning and smart MC, world building was okay, and it had a nice touch of mystery to it.
    Meanwhile, the harem was really unnecessary,
    At least it didn't take up too much space, and only played a role near the end.

    Just finished reading it. To give a spoiler free review, I recommend this to everyone who likes the following positives and can put up with the negatives:

    Positives:
    - MC has a System and cheat skill
    - Ruthless, smart and meticulous personality, but can also be kind at times
    - Learns from mistakes and grows with effort
    - Story has okay comedy
    - Battles, upgrades, story flow, world building are pretty well depicted

    Negatives:
    - Can be a bit too ruthless at times tbh
    - Ignorant of the love others have for him (the usual cliche of protagonists)
    - Ends up with a harem at the end (I mention this since some peeps dislike harem)
    - Can be considered abrupt end, but does end well enough, just not cliche
    - The horse 'Jin' can be the cliche annoying character
    - Interacts with living people far later on in the story

    100% recommend this to anyone who wants something good to read. Its a great pass time in hero world, game setting with lots of undead. I'd give it a 4.4/5. Could do with more at the end, or at least an after-story to see how things ended up.
