This is just endless scribbling without meaning or plot. The author threw the first book in the trash around chapter 2100 and started a new one with the same main character. Also, the main character doesn't develop, even at chapter 4300+, he's still a first-tier wizard. I remind you, the work is already 10 years old.

Well, this novel sure is a frustrating one, there are pros and cons to reading this:
1. Very Good world building.
2. Decent and easy to understand translation.
3. Pace is slow as a snail's run ( 132 chapters and then MC starts towards power progression, more than 150 chaps and he still did not learn a spell except cleaning. Whenever MC starts to do something towards power progression, author adds some bullshit reason and steer the novel direction towards something else)
4. MC's personality is akin to a good boy foolish Samaritan in a the cruel world. I think this is the weak point of this novel. Author did his best to make a unlikable MC for a novel like this.
5. Author has problem with focus, he says something but steer the novel towards something (probably to make the pace ever slower, Example is: MC says he needs to quickly become strong but next thing he can be visiting his friends, teacher's place, reading novels and doing some other shit that author cooks up).
6. Writing style is very unimpressive, gives the feeling of one of those garbage novels that gets posted in list of
new monthly novels but still is better than them.
Overall I will give it 5/10 because of slow progression, unlikable MC personality( which I don't know when will develop or maybe not even develop), author's habit for dragging and not getting to the point.

Chap 79 quit the novel was interesting at first but too much world building with little to no progress for MC at all let me know if it gets better in the future
