    a little bit of insider information. The corpses after formalin are very bad in quality to sell them on the black market for anything. They stink, they are brown through and through, they have fallen apart, and in general they have lost almost all of their properties.
    Formalin is only suitable for preserving the organs visually so that students can learn anatomy.
    The smell of formalin is so pungent that my elderly teachers used to tell me how to cure a runny nose by breathing over a corpse. Perhaps I should add that conjunctivitis can also be cured in this way, as long as it doesn't lead to chemical corneal burns.
