    I think the first statement explains Fosters stance or attitude toward the Tyrant and the second statement just says what he would do in this situation providing us a chance to see a bit of a his character. Even tho He claims to worship the Tyrant He still does things the Tyrant would not do such as petty revenge.

    At least that is my take.

      A forbidden sorcerer is someone who has access to forbidden magic.

      A wandering sorcerer is someone who wanders around and is not affiliated to any single organization.

      Those two are not mutually exclusive - i.e. Someone can be a wandering forbidden sorcerer.

        "The Forbidden Sorcerers" are explicitly a group under Austin. It's separate from a mage who can cast forbidden level spells, and isn't a title such a mage would be granted unless they worked directly for Austin

    This was a vanguard force with the intention of probing the enemy. There were fifteen Expedition Level flagships, thousands of frigates and assault battleships, and a total of over ten thousand spaceships.

    Imagine how much they would spend over those 10 years... tut-tut!

    Using an analogy, it was like two gangs fighting over collecting protection fees.

    That also reminds me of the war in Donbas...
