    I was thinking of Sequence 1s and is it just me or does Attendant of Mysteries sound just soooo much cooler than any other Sequence 1? Or even 0? If it were me, I'd include the Attendant of Mysteries in my honorific title as a Sequence 0 since I'd be the only one anyways.

        Honestly when it comes to the Evernight goddess specifically it would make more sense for her to just make sure Amon doesn’t cause absolute havoc in backlund, but still cause trouble for the Church of Storms. Amon has beef with the Lord of the Storms, Eternal Blazing Sun, and the God of Knowledge and Wisdom. So it would make sense for her to try to weaken their position and political party a little while being fine.

      Also why would the gods want the animosity of a King of angels unnecessarily??(especially when he isn't doing something against them)
      Not to mention, what's in it for them??
      And even if you eliminate all the Amon's avatars, it won't deal the main body enough harm to decrease his seq or anything...

    Since he ate Jacob, that probably means Amon has two seq 1 characteristics and the uniqueness.
    They need to protect Pallez at all costs. Otherwise imagine the whole continent made of little god Amons..

    This also explains why Klein had no mercy for rat marauder.

    Also, it strikes fear of seer, marauder and apprentice pathways into a whole new level.

    (Because they're supposed to be similar to a point.
    - All have worm god forms
    - All have foresight skills. Astrologer, seer, cryptographer.
    - All can use multiple pathways. Book, marionette, stealing
    Etc.)

    They're all just bizarre and unpredictable.

    The manipulation pathways are also terrifying tho. Like whole spectator, or instigator from demoness, or swindler (which makes marauder twice as bad)

    That helps to understand why those pathways don't have gods in the novel. They'd just win.
