    I honestly didn't like it, like if the bird just severed its connection to the spell, he shouldn't have lost his memories, considering they were in his soul, and I may be mistaken, but wasn't the shadow bond part of his aspect? If that's the case, how is he free then? And I thought it was a dirty trick that he lost the flute that revives the dead, Stifled Scream, and the crown of twilight, those are the ones I remember, if I remembered correctly. This is proof that the author loves to nerf Sunny, Nep, on the other hand, is the complete opposite; he only needs two names to gain power. What a joke!

      He lost those memories because while they rested in his soul, they werent truly connected to him.
      The memories he modufied contained his own essence and true name so i think it makes sense.

        Your argument doesn't make much sense, considering he lost his real name, and you said it was as if altering the memories would cause them to disconnect from the spell. What we know is that this is not the case after all; the spell still lists them.
        Off the top of my head, the only memories that might not be taken by the spell would be the Divine Mask, since it's one of the memories that remains without a user, and Ananke's cloak, as it wasn't related to the spell from the beginning.

      The reason he is free now is because true names are granted by the spell but since he got disconnected, so did his true name. Without his true name, that part of the aspect can’t work because he must be called by his true name. Well I think that’s how it works. The memories part is that the spell grants memories, it’s not a normal part of being awakened. The spell replicates a weapon and grants it to the user. But since he’s can’t use the spell, then he can’t summon upon them because their entire being is made of the spells spell idk.
