      i guess you got disliked cause the comment looks like a spoiler, but as a first time reader I also thought that this is possible for 2 reasons: He was a Gatekeeper so he can be a good body for the evil spirit, and he's close to Klein, which the spirit wants, to be able to kill Klein eventually.
