    Oh, so his current understanding is that its an Earth of far future ? So theoretically back then there was only a single being holding almost all of beyinder characteristics in existance with only a trace amount remaining in the world (plate Roselle found) then something happened that made him (original creator ?) Die and split characteristics from him upon tho world making it mystical ? But how long would it have to be for Klein not to recognize the continents, they hardly move in just few thousands of years. Idk, Im still keeping transmigration as a possibility.

    What I think happened:
    Klein saw the cocoons, 3 of them having hatched and the rest having people from "modern day" in them, going about their lives, and realized that his life as zhou mingrui prior to his "transmigration" was all an illusion, and now that he's hatched out of the cocoon, he's realized he can't go back. 3 cocoons having hatched means there was definitely another transmigrator other than Klein and Roselle, but who could it be?
