          Maybe he didn’t want to at that point in time? They seem to be still appearing in the story so it might be safe to assume they play a role later on. I don’t really expect the both of them to become beyonders, but who knows?
          During the beginning of the story Klein was also busy trying to adjust to the new world, new people, and then the beyonder stuff.
