      He became a bit too used to using the mysterious fog as a crutch when doing risky stuff like this. Like when he divined the abnormal coincidences happening to him and realized it that someone was directing the scene. Also tbf it’s a grade 3 artifact. Legitimately no one would think that it would be related directly to a god ever.
