    This here is because the in the original Chinese, Li Annan says something along the lines of "What about losing?" with the reference to himself implied by context. Only implied, though, allowing room to wiggle.

      I think a better way this portion could've been translated is, "And what about a loss?" "Be specific. Whose loss?"

        Yeh, I sorta directly translated '输的话呢' (which purely my guess on what the raws say), so yours does make more sense and flow better
