This was truly one of the worst novels I had the pleasure of reading. The start was decent enough with the whole apocalyptic vibes and magic but it quickly deteriorated. By chap 200 inconsistencies, random retcons, and plot holes started appearing all over the place. The author simply started pulling straight bullshit out of their ass at certain points that they contradict later on.

One of the most glaring issues, was that the author simply does not understand how difficult and time consuming research and learning actually are. The mc just learn shit she has no foundation to learn in a couple of month, days, or even hours. And research, which is supposed to be harder and more time consuming than simply learning, is usually handwoven away or given a token effort to keep appearances. The author also has a tendency to have the mc or other relevant characters forget their knowledge and skills whenever it's convenient for the plot or the author's whims.

That's not even the worst thing the author has done. There is also the bs with mc's legs. As a premise and a way to set up the mc's back story, it was fine. However, the author just forcibly keeps her paralyzed for no f#cking reason. When she literally evolved, she was still paralyzed. When she reached the peak of alchemy through bullshit and was able to brew potion that can regenerate severed limbs and bring people back from the dead, she was still unable to cure her legs. Even gaining actual and she still didn't even attempt to cure her legs. The most she has done is in chapter 800+ where she apparently tried to massage her legs with mana, while she was fully capable of all the other methods I mentioned above. It makes absolutely no sense why she is still paralyzed at all.

The writing style is also just as horrid. Its just author going on tangents and yapping between dialogue or actually relevant information. It breaks the flow and constantly bogs down the story. It also very repetitive with the author constantly bringing up the same points even hundreds of chapters later. I had to skim and skip just to actually be able to read the story.

Another problem is the fights. The author usually drags on the fights and goes on tangents between moves. The mc also only ever uses 2 f#cking spells and their variations, even though she supposedly has so much knowledge and dozens of spells. There are 3 exceptions to this, but exceptions are not the norm so ultimately the fights are very boring and repetitive.

Overall 1/10. I wouldn't ever recommend someone to read this.

Very satisfying and addictive read

If you want to read a story about a MC whos a flat cow wth dangling legs in 7 pose, this is definetly for you, in that case i recomend it to you for yoyr specific tastes, for others, dont, me who reads chinese shit daily, wants to commit accidental suicide in a world where in 24h only 17 out of 10k people died after transmigrating from first few ch, flat shit gets a skill that would have snowballed her in the first night, all she knows how to do is 3 days old pooped hospital gown P.S. Its def been like a week, she was abandoned in sme old ass house...for 3 days.. and even criminals didnt dare touch her... def the smell coming form the distance, those 2 run like the grim reaper was after them. So yea, thats about it, as shitty as it gets, comparable to MTL chinese... the back in the day MTL, so be warned, writing wuality itself isnt bad, but if its not a chinese womne writing this, dear author, find a 9 to 5 job and live happily ever after and stop torturing us

The story just feels off, her abilities in current world don’t match with her past experiences, without any power ups at that. In one chapter she is making bullets and the story never told when if ever she indulged in metallurgy or casting. And she just gets it without any experience.

As of chapter 20, it's not too bad. Can honestly change the gender into male or even gender neutral and things will still work. Not sure why the author made the MC female but so far, doesn't seem to have too much relevance in the story other than her looking like a ghost when moving around. Maybe they wanted to write about a witch...that's all I can think of.

Female protag, with NO Romance? Already a big improvement over 99% of female protag stories.
