On a sunny afternoon, Kyle finally received the long-awaited acceptance letter to Hogwarts, the prestigious thousand-year-old wizarding school.

At Hogwarts, Kyle led a fulfilling life. Besides attending classes, he spent his free time cultivating magical vegetables, tending to enchanting flowers, or venturing into the dark, forgotten chambers of the castle to provide emotional support to a small creature abandoned for centuries.

Dumbledore: “Kyle is a courageous, kind, and sincere young wizard.”

Professor McGonagall: “The Headmaster is absolutely right. Kyle never breaks the school rules.”

Snape: “Ah, yes… indeed…”

Professor Quirrell had thought the same—until one day, he opened a trapdoor and stumbled into a room full of Chomping Cabbages. Collapse

Good novel worth the read. Been some time since I read it. I gollowed it everyday of its uploads. Good novel. The plot progression was nice. Wouldn't call it a masterpiece but it is well written to an extent.
One problem I have with this is the romance. It's so underwhelming. Expected something nice but it was so meh and so.etimes missing for a 100 chapters continously. Thats a whole arc the love interest is just missing. And mind you they had met in the first year. And each 100 ish chapters is a hogwarts year dealing with each book. Maybe 150

Also for people who have gone into fanfiction. This is probably one of the few Dumbledores that aren't the co trolling type trying to off the mc for the greater good.

Could you recommend a Harry Potter fanfic where the main character quickly becomes stronger than Dumbledore and Voldemort?

With little focus on the original plot, I don't want to see Harry Potter repeating canonical events. If Harry doesn't even exist, even better.

I want to see the main character becoming the strongest wizard, or even starting out as the strongest, exploring the magic and mysteries of the wizarding world.

author didn't want to go out of canon plot a lot, but he made MC a passive, accepting, little bro, so in a way he has the mold of the real HP. he has no plan of his own, he didn't use any of his "future" book knowledge to either weaken No-nose, saving someone, killing some future enemies, or simply doing it to make money and or building his own power, either he do not make any arrangements whatsoever or the plan was bad and crumbling once the event starts

MC got depicted as a model wizard who's extremely able but also kind and not at all ruthless, therefore able to fly under the radar of that old hypocrite headmaster. but the product of these things are he's only strong in the scale of a student, he couldn't go against any random Death Eaters let alone No-nose, he(and author) was "forced" to let go a lot of enemies to maintain not ruthless persona, and because he's the so-called model wizard he very rarely scheme –at least to get something really worthwhile– and he's not doing any researches of things which are labeled as "dark". this might be one of the most half-assed transmigration story i've read

i won't talk about some of the holes in the story, only one that's most glaring: Nagini. after that chapter, things went downhill fast. by ch. 400-500 ish, i skimmed almost ⅞ of each chapter and i didn't lost nothing

if you're able to turn off your brain completely, then this is decent read

    Happy things about the novel:
-Transmigration novel that doesn’t describe the biological attractiveness of the MC’s mother in questionable detail
    -No harem joy
-No unnecessary drama or misunderstandings kef
-When MC wants to protect someone they care for they don’t resent MC for it
-Little to no filler, but no infodump either. One or two chapters were as acinema as “I” (LotM) or “I Won (I-III)” (Mother of Learning)
-Original and likeable characters, author doesn’t rely on stomping canon, and is quite loyal to canon actually. Canon characters are written nicely
-MC doesn’t exploit some “underestimated” magic or legacy or system or other cheat to become overstronk
-Aside from one side character, no poisonous tumor characters. Most everything is dealt with cleanly.
-Aside from Professor Babbling occasionally being translated as Babblay, no translation issues
-Author has original ideas for dealing with plot events, that make sense both within canon and within the altered framework of the fanfic quiet
-Sad canon events become happy while making canon sense
-MC learned the Newt Scamander Secret Art: Chucking Things Inside Your Untraceably-Extended Suitcase At People (preferable Chomping Cabbages or Norbert or a Basilisk)

This is a good novel. 1002 chapters in all. The translator has uploaded on scibble hub.
Good progression of the plot, I was genuinely invested in the conversations and how the characters interacted. The translation is done really well.

At first glance, Hogwarts: I Am Such a Model Wizard is a surprisingly fun read. The writing is clean, the grammar is solid, and the world feels alive. what i liked most is how the author doesn't limit the story to just hogwarts. We get glimpses of the wider wizarding world, with characters like Newt appearing, and both Dumbledore and Voldemort are portrayed as the powerful figures they should be.

The humor is another strong point. MC's interactions with Dumbledore are consistently funny, and his dynamic with Fred and George (the Weasely twins) is easily one of the highlights of the book. The daily Hogwarts life is also handled really well. Even simple things like classes and house drama feel lively and engaging rather than boring filler. The fights are described clearly, and there’s often a light touch of comedy that makes them entertaining.

So why wouldn’t i recommend it? honestly my main problem is with the MC’s behavior toward women. MC, and most of the male characters in general, instantly turn meek the moment a female character glares at them or gets upset. At first i thought this was just meant as lighthearted banter, but it happens so often that it started to feel like a pattern. Banter should go both ways, yet here it’s always one side glaring and the other side folding. Even when the guys aren’t in the wrong, they just back down like scolded dogs.

If this happened only once in a while, or only with minor characters, i could overlook it. But because it keeps showing up throughout the story, it really pulled me out of the experience.

That being said, this is just a personal gripe. If that kind of dynamic doesnt bother you, then i would absolutely recommend the novel. The characters are lively, the world building is well done, the comedy works, and the story gives iconic figures like Dumbledore and Voldemort the weight they deserve.

tldr: for me, the repeated submissive behavior of the male characters stopped me from fully enjoying the story. but if you can look past that, this is a really entertaining and well written Harry Potter novel.

Ignore this person. They’ve complained constantly in the comments throughout the chapters every single time an interaction between a male and a female didn’t follow the harem cultivation novel script with the men dominating the women

Unfortunately they also happen to be quite eloquent, and eloquent at gaslighting, so if you haven’t read the context they might sound half convincing

That’s not what I said. I never asked for men to dominate women or for harem tropes. My issue is the repeated one sided dynamic where male characters always back down, even when they’re not wrong. It stopped feeling like banter and started feeling repetitive.

I also clearly said this is a personal preference and that others may still enjoy the novel. Disagreeing is fine, but misrepresenting my point isn’t.

Also, quite the irony to accuse me of being “eloquent at gaslighting” while simultaneously eloquently misrepresenting my views. Disagree if you want, but argue against what I actually said, lmao.
