The most hilarious thing about this novel is the intro of every chapter by Jason. Those are some really over the top a$$ kissing.

For those who don’t know, The Legend of William Oh is the fifth highest-rated work on the Ongoing Fictions list of RoyalRoad. There’s a lot of questionable quality on that site, but for some time now, the quality in the Ongoing Fictions category has remained quite high, which is a good indicator in itself. However, there’s a problem that accompanies this quality: the slow publication speed of chapters for these works. The Legend of William Oh suffers from this issue even more than other works on RoyalRoad. At the time of its launch on the site, there were about 250 pages of content; now, three months later, The Legend of William Oh barely has 400 pages. Moreover, a portion of this increase of 150 pages occurred during the launch week when the author was releasing bonus chapters to engage readers.

In conclusion, the work is good and well-written. The protagonist can be a bit foolish at times, but it’s not too serious; after all, it makes sense given that he is immature and young. If you enjoy fantasy with a good dose of humor, you will likely enjoy reading this work—assuming you have the patience to wait for 2 or 3 chapters a week (which aren’t very long).
