Author doesn't maximize the system. System like this can be used together with forbideen cultivation that take lifespan away. Making the cultivation so much faster.

Moreover even if doesn't want to learn forbideen technqiue, the delivery of someone that has this kinds of system is not very good. True he does not have any talent in cultivation, atleast make him cultivation maniac that make use of fast foward time.

Like "100 years later, recive 2nd Qi Gathering. 300 years later, recieve 3nd Qi Gathering." and the novel will be more intersting. Like he can watch dynasty rise and fall in the prespective of the historian. Don't make him busnies man in the world of cultivation where one slap from higher cultivation makes him dead just because his wealth.

This novel is now pure unedited MTL in the latest chapters, you can see where the translation uses tao/taoist for that, which makes alot of the scenes borderline unreadable.

Which is a real shame, I really liked the novel's starting arcs.

Too slow, no adventure, slice of life, just MC scraping together a bit of spirit stones for years, then someone finding out his "wealth" and him moving out...

MC has no backbone, keeps moving from place to place, slow cultivation, not recommended to read.

I read to chapter 193. In my opinion this novel is a 3/5 and I can ignore the poor translation.

The novel has slow pacing in cultivation and average pacing in plot (although not all of it feels significant).
Action is less than other cultivation novels and the MC is not too good at it, relying on tricks and cunning instead.
The main focus of the story seems to be on business, politics, planning, and developing. Such things take up many chapters.

It is good enough to pass the time and has no significant flaws. It's just a little boring because the MC is a below average talent and has to grind grind grind.
