With his Daily Assistance System and extensive knowledge from modem society, some of which he learnt from being an author, he led his primitive Tribe out of poverty. There, little by little, he started to transform the era, to advance it forward!

Quick Summary: Chapter 240 here... Story was interesting at first but then it went downhill. If someone is interested in building simulator then maybe but aside from MC explaining basically everything what he do, being best at everything (Mary Sue syndrome? or Gary Sue in this case imbest ) and gatcha system that gives him things that he need at convinient time from modern world (but not only, like encyclopedia with herbs from primitve world or modern things suitable for primitive era cheerful ) then I think this novel have nothing more to offer.
    As for tags... :
Action - aside from few NPC fights and one big battle I can't call it action when most of the chapter contain explanation how to make ceramics, linen, paper or description of items (half a chapter about knife XD) or MC explaining that to I don't know who sometimes when he is alone.
Adventure - usually it's about well... adventure... it require moving and MC is a shaman that have to manage tribe XD Whoa... Let's have an adventure to nearby river to get some water joy
Fantasy - umm power system is somehow lacking. It's very basic and bland. What is more the system that acts like gatcha giving MC items and knowledge at convinient time well... it could be done better. MC uses something that resemble magic but we have mention of that at the start and then big nothing. Like some inkling of shaman powers, what shaman is capable of or some goal for MC to reach in terms of power :/
Harem - Some women are interested in him probably but I can't tell, maybe author put this tag to get some audience, building simulator more important XD
Romance - Some blushing here and there and unwavering admiration towards MC, can I call it romance? Does it contain some romance plotline? As for ch. 240 nope and I think it will stay like that for long. Building simulator more important wiseacre
Martial Arts - Umm, people use hands to do things? That counts? constraint Aside from that there is some power system of ranks for NPC's being Totem Warriors but nothing besides that no specialized techniques, only using some weapons provided by wonderful MC and MC using Shaman Techniques which is magic and not Martial Arts per se.

Overall... Boring building simulator where author have to explain everything step by step and even conversations between MC and characters (being the heroines or NPC's or main side characters) involve talk about how to make things or him explaining things. Funny situation was when Chieftain was giving a tour to rescued people and he was explaining everything again to those people. Like who you are explaining this to? crickets? audience? I think making 3 chapters of explanations per one thing is enough but who am I to judge better repeat this one more time ehh Also the pace of the novel. Mc is "inventing" things on the spot with his briliant knowledge and after few weeks they use bathrooms, have light in houses, know how to read and write, have farms and know how to make ceramics, cement and linen. I heard mentions of muskets and hot air baloons in later chapters so yeah. If author is so focused on making kingdom or big tribe I think it takes some time. Oh and one last thing. I leave it for last because there is nothing to talk about and it's the plot. Someone here used term "writing a shool essay about how I spent my summer" and I think it's quite fitting to close this review.
I checked this poison and now I have to go take a bath to wash this filth off myself 4

A terrible tribe-building novel. The MC is able to invent a lot in just a few months which is really unreasonable given the world he was in haven't even learn husbandry and farming. Even with the system aid, this is impossible since the one he was given is not consistent, not to mention, he needed to train people which would take a lot of time and also need materials, but it seems here, once the materials is found, the tribe would never lack those again which is pretty stupid. These people also work and study at night where lighting is very limited. Also, what the heck is festival in tribal era? I would get if it was like a worship or ritual, but a matchmaking festival? For a period where people starve or cannot have their fills, they still have a spare time to date people.

By chapter 500, MC has invented concrete, hot air balloons, bows and arrows, pottery, farming, greenhouse farming, cattle ranching, glassmaking and when facing the choice of braving the winter without stone walls (they already had wooden walls) to protect their citizens from the marauding wild beasts, he decides it's easier to invent gunpowder and create metallurgy to make muskets. This is 10 days before the start of winter, and about 3 months after MC arrives to this world.

And also, he has a system, but a gacha random pull. Which only really appears to coincidentally help the MC when he needed it the most for the proper development of the tribe.

This is not a good novel akd I regret reading so much mtl.

Checking for poison - is terrible!

The guy is a writer by profession. He died, woke up and let's build a village. With cement, with glasses, with porcelain and other things. And all this in about 9 months or less. By the way, for the most part nothing happens. For the most part, the chapters look like this: we're melting iron now. Look how it should be!

In general, school essays "how I spent the summer" are usually written at about this level. And usually it's better.

Because Chinese authors simply don't know how to properly write characters and are too lazy to change stupid stereotypes that are commonplace in China.

      1. In an attempt to write an engaging MC they make him be amazing in every field he touches. Ironically if the author is even lazy, he will pull the classic that the knowledge in said field is too complex for the MC. Bitch please, he is akin to a living supercomputer and you want to tell me that he can't do math or he can't memorize stuff. With current education levels, people have the foundation to learn any discipline. When you have the calculation speed of a supercomputer and basically eidetic memory, you can become a master in any and multiple disciplines at the same time. So in the end you have the MC being reliant on either plot armor, system or artifact to master disciplines that he has no actual knowledge of. It makes for a bad experience.

      2. Chinese authors refuse to refine their mythology lore for no serious freaking reason. I bet it has to do with their ancestor worshipping cult but I could be wrong. I Eat Tomatoes is a perfect example of a Chinese author who took Chinese mythology lore, refined it, and created a decent magic system. It has become so bad that newer novels prefer to use Western lore (like DnD) for their books than Chinese mythology. Sure there are still quite a few new traditional Chinese mythology novels but they make a somewhat smaller percentage. LIke don't they feel embarrassed for the shit they are writing?

In "I Became The Chief of A Primitive Village", our protagonist reincarnates in a world with magic. The magic system is unique, involving shamans who can use techniques like healing. The protagonist has two main advantages: a plot armor system that gives him tools for his goals (like a book on weaving linen) and his future knowledge, such as agriculture and characters for writing.

In this world, tribes need a shaman and a totem, which is a mystical source of power for the shaman. The protagonist also uses his system to gain skills and tools conveniently. The system can feel like a plot crutch at times, but the story remains engaging. If you like kingdom-building from scratch, this one's for you. It's fun and worth following, despite its flaws.

All I just hope for is that the novel will not just be about bringing modern inventions into the primitive world… because I have seen that many times and feels generic bond nose
