Darn it, there is no R-18 tag or anything like that, I was expecting something along that line since there was cthulhu in the title.

Lacking of any horror whatsoever it’s more of another Korean “Oh no I’ve entered the game I completed!!!” But with a shiny coat of Cthulhu with a disappointing amount of hair raising or goosebumps worthy moments for it to be considered “Horror”

This is Chinese? Have you fallen down as a baby and stumbled down the stairs like a loony toons character causing your brain to scramble Chinese and Korean with each other?

    Ch105.
    Fun read, though somewhat flawed.

Author repeats info fairly regularly. Not much horror vibe. Pretty much just gore and mystery, and of course, power fantasy, set in Stephen King lore. Fairly humorous.

    Worth a read.

Funny that its similar to Stephen king lore when Cthulhu is from Lovecraft (also are you sure its not lovecraft, well ill find out when trying)(Lovecraftian Horror is a sub genre of horror: cosmic horror/eldritch horror)

I really enjoyed this novel. Now it's not perfect and has its flaws but its perfectly fine, I give it a 3.5/5. To be more exact, I think the best part of this novel is probably the power-progression and world-building, which is par for the course for a lovecraft-inspired novel. The main plot focuses on the MC exploring the world with the main goal of escaping back to his original world since this world will face destruction. Although there aren't any grand big arcs, it follows a set of mini-arcs with a step-by-step basis to that goal (this might change later in the novel and its been hinted at but I'm not sure).

The characters aren't exactly amazing I'd say, they're perfectly fine but they're never going to be the main focus of the novel and the character interactions are pretty shallow and never necessarily deepen, it's basically always the MC you'll focus on. The MC in terms of morality I'd say is true neutral, he isn't explicitly evil but you can tell he's losing his humanity and he's not really a savior-type character. One of my gripes though is that the author takes away from some of the struggles I think the MC should face, for example he has this trait which gives him 2 mental illnesses permanently in exchange for immunity from all other mental illness effects. This is actually pretty broken, and I'm fine with it, but my issue is that the mental illnesses he has are more like plot-devices that show up once and never again rather than being part of his personality.

Aside from that I'd like to see his attributes increase but that's just the power-fantasy side of me speaking. It's not going to blow your mind as a novel but I think it's just a particularly good novel.

Ah that one, it started out fine but got boring real quick, I didnt think MC's bonus on magic justify the debuff he suffer, Also, story feel kinda slow and keep going in circle.
