So this book is pretty decent regression / non-isekai and I don't have any major complaints...except with how many times his last name changed. Oh, and His lil bro has a new name every chapter he's brought up.

    Spoiler ALERT!

I like aristocracy wars. His rise from Baron to Duke is great fun to read about. However, this novel has some problems.
First of all, MC unfortunately doesn't know what he's doing sometimes. Especially in relationships with couples or families. He tries hard and fights, but he says he will leave the job to his brother or something. There is also this incident. Even though MC was the commander and fought in every war, his brother only did 1 good thing. His father immediately asked MC to withdraw his brother because his duke position was risky.
Other than that, I read the finale and it sucked.
    5/10

As an experienced novel reader, I may say that reading novels is like searching a trash bin: you will find only a trash, the only difference is trash of what quality you will find.
If you want want a cultivation novel, Coiling Dragon is good enough, and if you are too bored - Stellar Transformations.
Mother of Learning - fantasy time loop.
Omniscient Reader - modern+fantasy regression theme.
Lord of the Mysteries (first part, not the second) and Shadow Slave as obvious choices.
Vainqueur the Dragon - somewhat comedy in moder/fantasy/system setting with resemblance of a plot.

It seems like a nice novel, but its clearly just cleaned up MTL. Names change, grammar and spelling mistakes, and im quite sure there are missing pieces. i want to read on but its just too frustrating.

    3.9/5 100 chapters.

To sum the story up. Mc was an asshole in his early days and after his noble family got destroyed he got a reality check and became a mercenary to revenge his family that he let down. He dies and goes back in time where in 10 years a life and death point gets reached so he uses his future knowledge to make his family stronger while trying to make up for his past mistakes. In other words... kingdom building in the middle ages.

The biggest difference between other novels with a simular reincarnation aspect is that the mc does not become an encyclopaedia.

The worldbuilding is fine but not excellent. The lack of detail is the issue.
The characters and their interactions are done well.
The pacing is probably the best part.
The romance is just starting but seems it will be slow. So no comment so far.
The story itself is action pact and suspenseful so there are no 'filler' chapters.
The chapters here seem cut off at some points and there are duplicate plus missing chapters

The biggest issue is the lack of detail. For example:

    - Mc goes to try to earn money. He gains 3 mil... oke but is that much or little?
    - Mc goes to war with someone but you only know how much the mc has for his forces and we don't know what the enemy really has. Oh he sieged a castle... how many castles does the enemy have?
    - Mc loses soldiers... he says oh i have to watch out because we lack people so lets buy quality equipment... so how much population does his territory have now and how many soldiers and knights do others have...
