    I wonder if the Starcom Consortium saw through my tactic of splitting my purchases into two separate trips.

    He made it easier to link the 2 identities together since he asked about the gang in both scenarios. If he wanted to create the illusion that 2 people (and possibly more) are hired to deal with the gang, he should have bought information with bot identities even if it wastes some silver. He can earn that back and more when dealing with the gang.

    If he wanted to make them unrelated he should have just bought it with the first identity and not mention it again with the 2nd identity. By doing it half assed like he did its easier to link the 2 together as being 1 person.
