      There are plenty of gatherings in backlund, all of them must have a way to recognise the participants, and the most common way must be a code at the door so it doesn't necessarily means that alger was at this particular one. he seems to have a deep connection in the beyonders world aswell as the curch of the lord of storms, he's also a sequence 7 so I don't think he would be attempting a relatively low and weak gathering like this one

      You can easily calculate the volume of the goods if you know the volume of the container beforehand. But measuring the weight of big containers would be harder. Using volume also standardizes the container itself so that you never need a bigger one or a second one just because the weight of the goods inside the container is a bit lower than required.
