Finished. Read it if you want something new and can tolerate with repeating statement haha (good point if you easily forgot the plot along the way)

I think it is good one. But warning Mc is not super smart, but he’s like book smart. So many foolish action happened but it is not that impacting on story.
Its strong points are the face that Author put a lot on thought concept of sacrifice and others stuffs. I even got a good comforting motto from the story.

But its weak points are repetitive of same concept over and over. Author repeated the telling like ‘Mc got …. Because he is…” then it will keep showing again and again. So I think it’s for word count.

My fav arc is Mist lord arc, it’s long but meaningful because after there you will not get much of actual relationship narrative between Mc and Mist lord. The story will be centered much on human side growing.

And the story is peak in middle like mountain, when author starts to tell story from other characters’ view, he said he want to adapt new way of telling but it’s too long for me haha. Also something system or info that too much but you can skimming over cause Author will recap for your in next chapter or forward chap anyway.

Anyway, it is still decent one. Weak at beginning and ending.

The story is good, but it could be much better. I'm writing this review after reading 486 chapters, so there's a slight spoiler.

The beginning is weak, a bit confusing and poorly done, but it quickly grabs the reader's attention.

After that, we have what I consider the "middle" of the novel. It starts off so-so, improves, and then gets really good. The author shows us the impact of the protagonist's time travels, the losses and suffering he endures, and his unwavering will. I especially liked (SPOILER)

Then we have what, for me, was the "middle-end." The author simply dumped information until he couldn't anymore, with repetitive, long, and pointless arcs. The plot development was at a snail's pace; not even Naruto or One Piece exaggerate this much in dragging out a story. I couldn't get past chapter 486. The repetitive arcs last more than 100 chapters; currently, he's in an arc with the villain from the Mist Village, and this is simply dragging on for more than 100 chapters, it's unbearable. Any reader can see that the author is just accumulating chapters to make his novel longer.

My final opinion? The story is simple, but it has a lot of potential. If the author reduced the 665 chapters to just over 400, it would be a very good story with the potential for an 8/10 easily. Currently, I had to give it a 6/10 because I couldn't read any more.

8/10 novels. I finished reading the MTL after braving myself.
The story took a complete turn after the first half of the novel, which revolving around MC looking for clues and solving mysteries. A lot of infor dumbs and unnecessary side characters pov ngl, but the author tided up all loose end perfectly.
Not the best novel there is, but definitely one belong to the upper half.
    Good read, definitely recommend.

So, the main character’s plan is to hand over all this future knowledge – mainly improved energy cultivation techniques, and other data – to his country. Specifically, to a research institute that he believes is interested in the common good, not personal gain. He thinks Uncle Wang, who has connections, is the perfect guy to help him. And he trusts him completely. It’s hard to know what to think, honestly.

On the one hand, I can almost see the logic. He wants to help his country advance. But on the other hand… it just feels so incredibly naive, to be honest. To trust any government implicitly, especially in a world where power dictates everything, seems reckless. He should’ve focused on getting stronger first, staying anonymous, so he wouldn’t become a puppet for the powerful, and so he could actually protect his loved ones.

Instead, he’s choosing to just hand over all the cards, all at once, as soon as he finds them. It screams ‘reckless, naive teenager with a bit of patriotic fever.’ He’s not realistic at all. He’s completely ignoring the potential downsides of his actions. The people in charge could easily use these secrets to enrich themselves and consolidate their power. That would lead to violence and oppression. He just doesn’t understand the realities, especially in a world where strength comes first.

It’s just… frustrating. I see what the author’s trying to do, but the protagonist’s actions are hard to swallow. There’s potential, but the main character’s lack of foresight is a major problem. 5/10.

After 100 chapters, the MC has accomplished nothing really. The beginning started off strong with the whole future thing, killing to get stronger, however he just stops trying to get personal strength, and starts relying to 3rd parties.
I've never seen a more worthless MC, other then Chen Yan (Roland) from Release that Witch. He's weak, never fights, doesn't take chances and a total coward. The banter with the Narrator is pointless dull and has lost its comedic value due to overuse. Such a disappointment in such a gem of a story idea.

I'd give it a solid 6 or 7. Pretty good, has flaws. I don't regret reading the MTL, but the tags are kind of misleading.

Initially it has a start that seems fairly standard. MC can travel to the future and return to the present, and can power up from killing monsters. So you would expect the standard theme of the book to be something like: go to the future -> kill monsters -> grab advanced technology -> go to the present -> use advanced technology to get resources -> repeat. And the MC would grow alongside the rest of humanity to eventually come out on top.

However, the story ends up taking a very different turn shortly (well, compared to the total length). Without spoilers, it becomes more Kingdom Building/Intrigue and less Action. So if you're looking for the MC to beat up monsters and keep growing stronger with a bunch of action scenes, those get more and more rare as the story continues. If you're looking for the MC to uncover secrets and use those secrets to his advantage, then you can look forward to that.

    Noteworthy cons:
    - As in most of these types of novels, the first few chapters suffer from extremely poor planning by the author. There are many elements that are later dropped/retconned because they don't really fit. It gets better later, although there are still a few elements that are basically thrown away without development.

    - Again as is common in these types of novels, a lot of side characters just end up kind of forgotten. It's somewhat understandable as the MC starts dealing with larger and larger issues, but a few of them are kind of jarring. Most notably his teacher, who just never shows up again after "joining the research department".
    - There is no concrete power scale, even up to the end of the novel. You never really know how strong the MC is compared to the average human, or how strong the enemies are. Near the end of the novel they try to justify this with "well, wars between races are like rock/paper/scissors, it totally depends on the matchup", but given the context of the rest of the novel and "strong races" vs. "weak races" it doesn't really make much sense that there would be no scale whatsoever.
    - Related to that, there are lacking battle scenes to really make you understand what sort of practical impact the MC is having by bringing back advanced technology/cultivation techniques/resources. It's just a one line "and humans were stronger" but no particularly detailed description. How are they stronger? And by how much? None of it is really explained.

    - A large portion of the later parts of the story are told from the perspective of random characters living and trying to adapt to the changed world he's created. I appreciate the sentiment of trying to cultivate the worldbuilding, but it is very dense. Those really should have been broken up and scattered around a bit instead of in one giant block. You'd probably forget the MC's name if they didn't keep referencing how much everyone looks up to him.
