It was. An interesting novel, but got held back by author itself. Author really know how to delay things and made the novel so tedious to read.

What I meant by delay is (when something happens, like a fight, they tend to change the subject into something else to make the fight longer than it have to).

Like a filler. sometimes it was a flashback, other times it was random infodump. But it was placed on a bad place, messing the reading flow

Other than that, it's a good read

A story that takes place in an alternate version of High School DxD in which certain One Punch Man characters have wandered off.

However the MC of this fanfiction is not Saitama, nor Genos or another, but Hyoudou Issei, with only one difference: he is the son of Saitama. Yes, in this fanfiction, Saitama fell in love and had a son who is the original MC of the High School DxD series.

You will therefore have the right to an Issei with a personality very different from the original series. So if you're afraid of having a perverted MC, you have nothing to worry about.

On the other hand you must have read until the last chapters of One Punch Man if you want to understand certain elements. Same with the High School DxD anime. I advise the faint hearted not to read this novel, especially if you have a problem with rape.

Indeed this novel can have a rather hard content at some time, even if the rape scenes are not numerous and not detailed. However, this may shock some even if the scenes are not shown, the mere fact of knowing that a heroine has been raped in the past can disgust more than one. But as I said these passages are rare and the rest of the story is correct. It's just a warning.

I won't comment on the quality of writing, I'm not English. Personally, this fanfiction is interesting since we rediscover the world of High School DxD from the eyes of a completely different Issei, with Saitama for father, a dragon class monster for dog, Genos for godfather, ...

The story will follow almost the same timeline as the High School DxD anime with a few differences due to the presence of One Punch Man characters (In general the events will be far from being as easy to solve as those of the original work).
