    I started reading with Manhwa. A couple of years ago I tried reading the novel, but I gave up after 30. The main character is just an immoral. In the manhwa, the main character was softened.
    Now I've decided to start reading again, as the Manhwa releases have started to slow down. And now I've read through to chapter 159, and I can only describe the main character as an immoral freak. Some of his actions can be attributed to the fear of being discovered, it’s understandable, but some of them make me sick. As for praising China, well, It hardly irritates the eyes, But I can understand the Author; I would probably do something similar if I were writing.

    Read up to chapter 711, cannot imagine how this story somehow has over 3500+ chapters. It was very good at the start but i started getting bored later on. Took a break and came back to find out i still found it boring. I guess the MC becoming so OP got boring later on since there was barely any competition.

    Might just be me feeling bored but apart from that, the MC is ruthless with a system to help him grow. Overall, id rate this a 4.1/5, give it a try!

      It's not just the mc being just too op, it's also the fact that there is absolutely no challenge whatsoever. No suspense, no drama, no excitement, it's literally just the mc running everyone down and finding everything he needs. It's a shame because the premise is so nice too...

          Usually trees in novels stay in one place and command others to do things or cultivate in silence. Kinda like this mc did in the beginning. It was mostly his subordinates going around fighting or recruiting. Does he now do these things himself instead of using his subordinates? I imagine he still hasn’t gotten fully used to his tree identity so if he goes around using other forms then he should be fighting and stuff more right?

            I feel like it’s the same as it is in the beginning where he has his subordinates do the fighting for him and he only intervenes in the matters of his faction when necessary. He does go around doing things that he wants, where it’s just him without his people and he fights. Personally, I think like book is a nice mix of everything. But that’s also cause I’ve been caught up most of the time not reading giant chunks of it in one go. There are major? points during the story where he starts a fight of sorts and then he lets the faction finish things off or vice versa. For example, in the more recent chapters (~1,100s)

    Read almost 600 chapters. Pretty good book, nice premise of being a tree, fairly well written/translated. Characters are pretty interesting and the world of built well enough.

    My only real issue is that mc is overpowered from the start and never really struggles with anything, not even that he's suddenly become a tree. This makes the book a little boring for me as at every turn it turns out the 2nd already knew about that trust or can just crush it underfoot (or root I guess).

    Also sometimes things aren't really explained well like the power system or how the world itself is changing.

    But apart from that good novel overall, definitely readable, I'd rate 7/10

    MC doesn't even care about his subordinates, only dislikes when people disrespect him and hurt them. But if they are injured or die the MC doesn't care at all. He has no problem sacrificing them if it leads to something that benefits him. Also wants to basically recreate a civilization to worship him.

      That's not his branches and it's not even his evolution points, it's his energy rating or sumshit when he gets scanned of the energy rating tools of the humans.

      Just like how other tier 0-9 transcedents have an energy rating of 1000-9000

      Tier -1 has 10,000 to 99,999
      Where breaking through 100,000 is tier 2

      with 1 million is tier-3 as far as I understand
