    Surprised by how cliche this scenario is to be honest. Yes I understand that Swordsage has basically tasked Xu Qing with being the next swordsage king or whatever but the whole thing feels kinda ehhh especially compared to everything else. Is this really all there is to it? I’d have hoped with a god body etc. that some deeper mechanism would have been triggered. If he is to one day surpass Dark Serenity (fled like a bitch btw) then surely he needs the grand emperor’s inheritance plus extra.

    Quite disappointed tbh if his enlightenment opportunity is used up for the most recent grand emperor.
    The origin inheritance, of the being who brought the ancient planet to revered ancient, or even an origin inheritance native to the planet even before the being brought it the revered ancient would have been cooler. Also rip captain and plumdark for not getting this opportunity.

    Hopefully the sword has a longer history than grand emperor swordsage
