HP: The Arcane Thief by Snollygoster

Honestly i liked the idea especially the Alternae Universe thing all until it went full generic anime type stuff...

Now, usually i can let pass some things like the systems and what not because i have had my share of reading System novels, but it feels like they made the AU worldbased around the MC and the system less then the world itself.
As for the Main character Axel. He is supposed to be an very angry and distrustful boy who has lived stealing in the muggle streets of london. Who then got Cruciatused to a very serious degree and by an Wizard (This happens in the first chapter). So i find his moodiness and lack of wanting friends to be understandable. But man does the author suck at not making him edgy... Instead of feeling dark and sad he comes of like a... well edgelord alot.

This is suppose to be a Harry Potter OC fan fic but less than half way in it stops with the Harry Potter universe and goes into other stuff

AUTHOR BEGAN UPDATING AGAIN!!! Thank god! I had almost lost hope. Too many good novels get dropped because of some haters.

It feels like there won't be any chaps for the rest of the month and most likely for the month after this one as well.
My pessimistic but still optimistic opinion after seeing too many novels being dropped.

Gotta be honest, I'm still gonna check up the chaps just to see where the author s going, even if the plot is obvious for any reader.
Most of the chaps are filler, adding that they are short anyway you don't get any satisfaction from reading less then 10 chaps a time.
Even then, you either have girls falling in love for "various" reasons (plotarmor) or anybody else that hates him for no reason or just underestimates him even though all hints go the opposite way. Of course, ending in a way that he annihilates any opposition.
This will never be an interesting or even good story, but if you're interested in the HP universe, and have time to waste read it.
There's no emotional moment cause everything is just slapped after another, but hey, we don't go reading these stories expecting masterpieces.

For me it's a really good novel 4,5/5

This fanfic is in top ranking (#1 or#2 weekly) on webnovel and the author has more than 300 subscribers on his Patreon. You just read less than 10 chapters and quit it's your fault. MC isn't getting instant power so you quit and call the author and all readers retarded when actually you don't have the patience for plot and character development.

Pussy MC and retarded author. I can tell people love and pay for this crap because it really fits completely brainless entertainment mode just to rile up feelings instead of telling actual story or any kind of believable plot, in both his/hers first book and this one is just full on DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA attacks to get pity or talk about "muh feelz" all the time or possible partners. Catered 100% to twitter libtard crowds that have fkton of money to spend and really do on this crap. Kinda smart from author ngl but I would be ashamed to write like this, ruining Harry Potter to the ground. Destroying any thoughtfull, engaging writing in favour of this.
