    The reason it’s easier to root for battle heaven is the opposing side other than being made up largely of foes, stands for nothing there quite hedonistic in nature which doesn’t exactly get your blood pumping by itself

    The scale of the army gave him heart palpitations! Did it number in the millions at its peak? Perhaps there were one hundred thousand in each of their corps! Just how glorious was the ancient civilization?? It boggled the mind!

    The question is if they were really so glorious. What kind of enemy allows humanity to unite to this degree and what kind of enemy would force a city to house such a big army. Armies aren't cheap to upkeep. Considering the current state of the world, it looks like they ended up losing the war as well or the energy wouldn't have disappeared. Whether it was because it was sealed or taken away, neither outcome was a good one.

      Yeah and considering the heavenly emperor and the silver armor shooting towards the sky(previous expedition) it’s likely that it was a invasion from space. Any species that’s able to travel through space to start an invasion on another planet is strong so that probably explains why everything degreased. Sort of like the aftermath of a nuclear winter.
