    Now ngl, I thought this will happen once we get the VTB as a Shadow, like stealing his lineage along with the idea of him from everyone's mind.

    But because of... circumstances, I have no idea how this is going to work. If at all, BUT IT HAS TO. Cassie needs the Lineage of the god of memories, it's too important for her aspect, it CANNOT be not useful for her.

      That's taking the Will of Asterion lightly if Nephis full domain humanity empowered flames couldn't restore her eye I'm willing to bet she cannot get it back just by recreating herself , It WILL still be empty.

      Well we saw that the immortal saints that had their fate taken from them so they couldnt die so its not that vtb is more powerfull it was that sunny was fated and everythingt that happened at the end of volume 8 everything perfectly fit together and so that was how was vtb was able to do it

          He's referring to the immortal saints that were the shackles binding up the demon of Hope. Their fate was taken and looped within keys. The keys kept Hope imprisoned while also preventing the death of those saints. Noctis was one of them.
