        Chapter 1326:
"A pale figure moving across the surface of the water with calamitous killing intent, shrouded in countless layers of furious darkness. That rippling darkness was boundless and unfathomable, containing within itself an infinite number of choices. The features of the harrowing figure were vague and obscured, and all he could see…

Was a pair of terrible wings, their feathers black like those of a raven. They spread, vast enough to devour the sky, and drowned the world in howling mist."

You know you really asked an interesting question?

Can the VTB steal the flame of the beings born from the flame? Isn't it quite shiny so it would want to steal it?

Corruption acts like a universal law even though it not. At least It should be at a similar level so I think maybe if the VTB was at the unholy level it might be able to but it's still hard to say with so little information on how it actually steals and divine power. Stealing a normal beings flame now or even divine flame would probably amount to killing or corrupting that person. If the only way to cleanse corruption is through death which is a universal law..then "stealing" has to be at a similar level to that to make it work I think. Else it could steal it but maybe not be able to keep it.

Your argument could work if it didn't steal Sunny's Fate.

The strings of fate were tried around him very intensely. SO much so that him losing his fate caused all diviners to lose their abilities to predict the future. His fate is also tied to the Nightmare spell which took the cores of 7 gods and 6 daemons to create if I remember correctly.

Considering that the Nightmare Spell could lull the FG to sleep, I think it's quite a big upscale to the VTBs power to be able to steal Sunny's fate

Who’s to say all that wasn’t fated. Fate as a universal law could very well be the reason the VTB is OP, stealing Weavers eye, being hated by all sides..maybe fate being broken is something the VTB was always meant to be a part of like Gollum in TLOTR. The fact that stealing Weavers eye was one of the ways Weaver used to distribute his forbidden lineage makes me think the VTB is Weavers tool to mess with or control certain outcomes in Fate. All this is speculation though. We simply don’t know enough to say anything convincing.

I don't think even Weaver is able to fully wield fate seeing that he planned for who knows how long just to get all these pieces in order to break fate.

The person whose fate is severed cannot be "random." They must be significant enough that their absence disrupts the entire weave, yet at that specific moment, they must be "weak" enough (in rank/divine weight) for the strings to actually be severed. Sunny was the perfect candidate because he was a singular anomaly—a master of Weaver's lineage with the [Fated] attribute, making him a central pillar of the future's design

Fate cannot be broken by force alone; it requires a choice that contradicts the destined path. Cassie provided Sunny with a deliberate choice at the Estuary that allowed him to step outside his role as a "slave" to destiny. This act of rebellion by two key players (Sunny and Cassie) was the primary cause of the tapestry tearing apart.

The event had to occur in the Estuary of the Great River, a place that exists outside the natural flow of time and beyond the control of the gods. Because the Estuary is where time "didn't exist yet," the changes made there propagated through the entire timeline, effectively erasing the "destined end" of the world.

But what conditions would be needed to steal someone's flame? Them having to be weak enough for it to steal it ig?

Was the moth lying when they say higher level corrupted being can stave of their sanity from the corruption?

      Yes, he was lying.

He mixed lies with partial truths to confuse Sunny. Higher-level corrupted beings can suppress their desire for creatures of the flame, but they are not truly immune to it. Even the moth itself wasn’t immune.

I don’t think VTB is immune either—he likely just doesn’t care and chooses to ignore it (just a theory).

VTB most likely prefers being corrupted since it’s hinted to of stolen from Void beings too but maybe it would steal Nephis longing and if so would it instantly make it sane?

I wanted like to disagree with the people who are desperate for a third person to appear, but I think Sunny is too far in the past for Nephi to show up.

I think this arc will end around chapter 3000 or later, because that way G3 would have time to do everything he seems to be cooking up.
