Wow lol the time storm wasn’t Nether but Sunny himself unleashing an unfathomable amount of killing intent, maybe that’s why he survived because it was his own will and anyone else would have died instantly. G3 you madman

    Chapter 1326:
"A pale figure moving across the surface of the water with calamitous killing intent, shrouded in countless layers of furious darkness. That rippling darkness was boundless and unfathomable, containing within itself an infinite number of choices. The features of the harrowing figure were vague and obscured, and all he could see…

Was a pair of terrible wings, their feathers black like those of a raven. They spread, vast enough to devour the sky, and drowned the world in howling mist."

During the fight, sunny changed into serpent, how does a serpent who was binding around vtb get black wings suddenly? And the infinite number of choices part, where exactly does sunny has something that relates to it. The howling mist mentioned, is mist of nothing wrapped around nether

David was walking along an open road with an absent-minded expression. The road was cracked here and there with many potholes. There were a few houses scattered around, and smoke rose from their roofs through chimneys.

Currently, it was mid-December in UKA (United Kingdom of Asia), and it was the season of snowfall. David was walking at a steady pace when he suddenly felt a piercing pain in the left side of his chest.

"Ugh…" David clenched his shirt over his heart.

The black curse was spreading faster than he had imagined. He slowly rubbed his chest, and after a few moments, the pain disappeared as if it had never existed.

After walking for a while, David suddenly stopped. He closed his eyes for a moment, took a deep breath, and said evenly,

"How long are you guys planning to follow me?"

There was complete silence for a few seconds, and then someone leaped out from a bush at the side of the road. A few people jumped down from the roof of a nearby house, and someone even crawled out of a garbage container.

Before he knew it, David was surrounded by many people.

The road through the United Kingdom of Asia was a jagged spine of neglected asphalt, scarred by potholes that looked like open wounds in the earth. David AKA "Thunder Storm" Weaver moved along it with an absent-minded gait, his boots crunching over the frost. Above him, the low-hanging December clouds pressed down like a leaden weight, and the smell of woodsmoke drifted from scattered cottages, a thin, gray sign of life against the coming snow.

He was miles from anywhere, yet he wasn't alone. He could feel the weight of eyes on the back of his neck, a prickle of intuition that usually kept him alive.

          Then, the strike came.
It wasn't a dull ache; it was a white-hot needle driven straight through his ribs. David gasped, his knees buckling as he lunged for his chest, fingers knotting into the fabric of his shirt. The black curse. It was no longer a slow-moving shadow; it was an ink-stain sprinting through his veins, hungry and impatient. He stood frozen, his breath hitching in the freezing air, until the agony receded as abruptly as a tide.

He didn't resume his pace. He stood in the center of the road, closed his eyes, and let the silence of the UKA winter settle around him. He drew the biting air deep into his lungs, centering the power that remained in his marrow.

"How long," David said, his voice terrifyingly level, "do you intend to keep trailing me?"

The world held its breath for three seconds. Then, the ambush detonated.

Shadows detached themselves from the skeletal brush; figures plummeted from the thatched rooftops with the grace of falling predators. Even a rusted refuse container at the road’s edge hissed open, birthing a killer in charcoal-gray tactical gear. In the blink of an eye, the empty road had become a cage of steel and lethal intent.

Twelve men. Maybe fourteen. They wore the sigil of the Obsidian Guard, the very people who had cast the rot into his heart.

"You're a hard man to find, David," the lead hunter said, stepping forward. He drew a serrated blade that shimmered with a sickly violet light. "And an even harder one to kill. But the curse is doing half our work for us, isn't it? I can smell the decay on your breath from here."

David opened his eyes. They weren't the eyes of a dying man; they were shards of flint. He slowly lowered his hand from his chest, his palm humming with a faint, dangerous resonance.

"You're right about one thing," David replied, a ghost of a smile touching his lips. "The curse is fast. Which means I don't have the luxury of wasting time on a conversation."

He shifted his weight, his coat flaring in the wind. The hunters tightened the circle, their weapons raised. They thought they were cornering a wounded animal. They hadn't realized that a wounded animal is the most dangerous thing in the woods, especially one that has nothing left to lose.

As the first flake of snow finally drifted down from the gray sky, David moved. He didn't run; he blurred. Like a lone bolt of lightning flashing through the snowy clouds on a cold winter night's thunderstorm.

I just reread chapter 1326, wow, G3 is a genius!!!! How can he think so far ahead of the story? In this chapter, Sunny also had a hallucination with Nephis where she's all cut up and bruised, imagine that, he saw her state after the fight with the thieving bird!

Look at this excerpt from the chapter where Nephis asks Sunny what he saw at the lake!

        chapter-1327-frozen-reflections

Nephis, it seemed, also wanted to know.

        "What did you see?"

Her voice sounded nonchalant, but he could tell that she was curious.

Sunny groaned and sat down, then summoned the Endless Spring to take a sip of water. Washing the taste of blood off his tongue, he lingered for a moment and said in a somber tone:

"I think I just saw Nether in full war mode, going all out."

The harrowing figure which was shrouded in darkness... Sunny was not certain, but he felt that it was the Prince of the Underworld, Nether - the Demon of Destiny - himself.

After all, he was also the Demon of Choice. And that was what Sunny had sensed within the boundless expanse of rippling darkness, an infinite amount of choices. True darkness also originated from the mists of the Hollow Mountains, where Nether's domain lay.

        'Curse it.'

Sunny had seen a daemon before. However, he had not been reduced to such a sorry state after meeting Hope face-to-face. Why was gazing upon the Prince of the Underworld so different?

'I guess it was not seeing him... it was feeling an echo of his killing intent.'

Nether's murderous will was so terrifying that simply looking at his reflection almost killed Sunny. And that was considering that he was an Ascended Tyrant, too... if a mundane person had glimpsed the visage of the infuriated daemon, they would have probably dropped dead at the spot, simple as that.

        'Scary...'

Sunny turned to Nephis and smiled weakly.

"Neph... remind me to never get on the bad side of a deity."

She raised an eyebrow slightly, giving him a dubious look.

'What is that supposed to mean?'

Ignoring his request, Nephis shook her head and asked:

"So what did he look like? The Demon of Destiny?"

She had spent her Second Nightmare in the Underworld, so she must have been dying to know.

Sunny remained silent for a moment. Eventually, he shrugged.

"I have no idea. I only saw a pair of raven wings, and a figure moving within a shroud of terrifying darkness. That was pretty much it. Ah... but it was also enough to almost make me pass out, so..."

He looked at Ananke and asked:

"Are all gods and daemons reflected in these waters?"

Ok, let me be the Terrors lawyer once more.

Vtbs ability to steal works how it works. The fact the Sunnys Will to kill vtb will actually kill vtb is unexpected but pretty logical.

The really good question is why she stole what she stole. Vtb is corrupted, vtb is crazy, vtb is dumb and some other takes that doesnt actually work. Why? Because vtb is old asf Cursed Terror, embodiment of thieving. No way she doesnt know how her own abilities work. And there were probably a lot of other options to steal, smth like sence of time, right-left sence, reaction time and so on. But vtb stole only Will and Mind.

We know that bird doesnt steal things that is not shiny. So, are his Mind and Will shiny? Yes. Because they were changed by Weaves. In that case vtb is not picking the worst options, but just does what she has always do, just like normal crazy creature. She steals shiny stuff.

Anyway, what else could she steal from him? It seems to be a Spirit, or Flesh because it is the last Weave he gained. Can she steal everything but shadow from him? Would Sunny be able to fight without anything but shadow? Would another Sunny be born from stolen parts? Then he will be just like skeletons, right? Will this Sunny try to get his fate back while he into vtbs soul sea? Could two Sunnys reunite while vtb is still alive? This is how Sunny takes his fate back?
Shit this would be so fcn cool. Can that guy who asked g3 not to turn Mordreth into Spirit send ts to him too?
