    I theorise that what happened in the Great River is similar to what occurred in Antarctica. The Great River no longer flows and is now stagnant, releasing its hold on the inhabitants within it. What this means is that the river people can now move freely within the river without worry of their lifespan; this could also hold true for the Nightmare Creatures. So, now no longer bound by one location of the river. The abominations can circle in on the civilisations, forcing a mass migration of people further downstream as they fought against the abominations to seek sanctuary. This could explain the signs of all the battles and destruction of the cities within the river. That's why we haven't seen any living thing so far in the tomb. It looks like now the remaining people now dwell in the Estuary?

    What I also hope this means is that they can finally leave the tomb. Sunphis could lead the people out of the tomb and join the children of War in the Dream Realm joy Wouldn't that be awesome! Sunny and Nephis need all the help they can get to fight back against the Dream Realm, the river people could that AND most importantly, they can teach the people how to awaken naturally!

      речные люди скорее всего не могут существовать вне пирамиды, так как они там родились и адаптировались к ней, а внешняя среда для них будет уже враждебна. Возможно они просто рассыпятся когда выйдут, так как ночной странник испытал все свои смерти при привязке тени. Так что тут так же может произойти.         But look at the signs. The river is no longer flowing, which suggests the people's lifespan is no longer bound to the river. And clearly, they are all missing somewhere and shouldn't be in this part of the river. So it would logically make sense they can leave the tomb

    Im still investing in Daemon stocks he will make an appearance in the real world he's fate is still unknown who knows maybe he was stranded in the TOA due to being unable to make it across the nightmare desert again and when the thieving bird came out of the estuary he battled it across the whole TOA and it with an enigmatic the bird is I wouldn't be surprised if they stalemated in their fight and it just left him alone.

    I would wager though that Daemon once he came in TOA killed the defilement source theres no way a sovereign wouldn't have a way of killing it from far away. And he may have exterminated every living abomination in the TOA and for reasons unknown he never went to the estuary and found out about the VTB.

    As for his 40 saints I too have no clue. I think at minimum Daemon and hes big cohort fought at wind flowers island killing every great abomination and somehow due to Daemon probably tied up killing the harvester wind flower ended up dying. Thats probably why the island was deep fried.

    side note was it confirmed that Noctis was the priest corpse in the forgotten shore? Or we just know that was one of the grand priests of the nightmare spell. And we know theres two of them so 50/50 noctis died somehow

      I think the Weaver and his priests are dead. Their purpose in life was to leave small but important changes in the fabric that would play a role in the distant future. For example, the priest on the Forgotten Shore was supposed to leave a mask, and Noctis was supposed to be in the right place at the right time to meet Sunny in the nightmare. That would be very poetic for the priests of fate.

    It was an exquisitely beautiful young woman wearing a black mantle. With her small stature and glistening ebony hair, dusky skin and piercing blue eyes, she looked like an enchanting river spirit. Her lovely face was lively and captivating, and her eyes glistened, reflecting Neph's flame.

    The young woman studied them for a few moments, and then bowed deeply.

    Her voice was bright and melodious.

    "Hail Weaver, Demon of Fate... Firstborn of the Unknown."

    This honestly makes sense, but for a second I had been considering that Nephis’ mom was the unknown “guest.” I still feel like her mom is ultimately somewhere out there, it feels like they allude to it too often for it not to be an eventual reveal, and where better to have soul stealing monsters that can separate you from your body than the source of nightmares? Plus, it would make Sunny’s proven ability to reunite souls with their body that much more significant.

    I don’t really think I’m right, but there is at least something of a bread trail. Happy to hear people’s thoughts on the matter, I guess I can still be proven correct as the story continues. Just because Ananke is here doesn’t mean Smile of Heaven isn’t. Also, speaking of, ANANKE LIVES
